I dunno. I just see how many rapists, murderers, harassers of women, violent men, etc. populate the trans movement, who have done vile things and had no consequences to them and their movement, and I find it difficult to believe that one pedo freak is going to somehow accomplish what all of them failed to do and actually damage the trans movement, you know? When you've seen a troon openly admit to raping young transmen with the intention of getting them pregnant to fulfill his deviant fantasies of "raising a nonbinary baby" and then still go on to have an uncriticized activist role in the trans movement including speaking at a women's march and (iirc) a dyke march, and the trans movement go unquestioned for elevating this person and allowing them to be a face for their movement... I just don't know.

Frankly I think that conservative and liberal powers-that-be both have too much of a vested interest in allowing the trans movement to flourish (conservatives because it means destroying women's rights and gay rights as well as taking away the language women and gays need to talk about their own issues and even their bodies, liberals because it makes them feel like the ultimate defenders of social justice or whatever) to allow it to be seriously damaged by any one individual. Their handmaidens will just handwave all of this away with a No True Troonsman and it'll disappear just like all the other cases of horrible acts by troons.

Whether he cops anything for the threats or not whatever reputation he had before all this vileness has been shot to ribbons by no one but himself. Wherever he goes he'll never be allowed to forget, the reminders will always be there. Getting done, possibly, for the weapons, CP and threats will be a bonus.

Yaniv is the perfect example of why the trans movement needs gatekeeping (actually needed it ages ago). He's set them back probably by a decade single-handedly, and if I was a hysterical tin-foil-hat-wearer, I'd say he's a deep cover alt-right plant to discredit trannies (but no, he isn't, trannies made this bed themselves).

The trans movement will never push for gatekeeping. That would mean some of those "brave stunning transwomen" wouldn't be able to bully their way into women's sports, bathrooms, lesbian bars, etc. and that will never do. I'm not confident that Yaniv has set them back at all, unfortunately. Sure, some people will go "oh god what have the troons wrought" or whatever, but for the most part... not sure in Canukistan, but in the states, yes a protective order will force the recpient to vacate if that is within the exclusion zone. Based just on what Yaniv posted here you could easily get an order barring them from the housing complex. Heck it would be the most authentically Troon experience for Jonathan. Getting thrown out of his house for threatening to kill people living in it, because they won’t bow to his mental reality.
