A thought just occurred to me. Nick plans on going to the hearing on the 9th. Could be a prior KV, we have seen some KV going ISWV after enough evidence came out, also she's been there prior to the buu saga, as such she'd know that if she wants to keep her job she better follow the right crowd or else.
It actually makes more sense if it was a KV considering removing Chris (and okatron5000) actually helps her and the dubbing industry in the long run by pushing for actually good actors, not actors that does "special" service, or connections. It also allows her (assuming she's getting minor roles), and future VA's a better chance at MC roles as it'll go back more so to competence and performance.

Hi, I'm a person who just heard of this site while catching up with the "Weeb Wars" developments.

I don't know how useful my personal anecdote here is, but since it seems some folks here were investigating when rumors of Vic went around, I'll recall when I, myself, first heard such rumors.

I was at this panel at Zenkaikon 2012 (While I would not normally be able to state such so clearly, it was the only time I was at the Oaks), and a panelist there brought up a story about Vic "caught in the hotel bathroom with an underage girl".
Oddly, in spite of it being an 18+ panel the details were not as explicit as the prior story involving a yaoi cosplayer being forced upon by twins, a story treated more like a punchline than the allegations against Vic.
Also, this does not seem to be among the stories currently circulating as an allegation, since none of them refer to the location - a detail I thought stuck out like a sore thumb, since, well, public hotel bathrooms are usually pretty gross. That detail, along with clearly referring to an "underage girl", is the one thing I remember the most clearly.

I do not remember if the panelist was stating this as a personal witness or if it was someone else's story she was reciting.

I've not had any interaction with Vic at any cons myself, and only attended panels quietly with other FUNi VAs without any direct interaction. Since I don't think I have anything else to contribute, I'll refrain from posting further unless questions are asked about the anecdote.

We now know that Japan is watching Nicks show because they know about Schemmel and they cited Rekieta Law in an article. Japan is mad at FUNImation and hates Schemmel. When Nick covers Sabats casting couch tomorrow, Japan and Toei will be watching. I wouldn't be surprised if Toei either pulls their licensing from FUNI or at the very least demand Schemmel and Sabat be fired. They can't protect Sabat from the Japanese people or from the wrath of Toei.

Pressing x to doubt Sabat and Funi threatened CN and that they cared at all about losing the shows. That would imply that they actually care about Funi's shows on Toonami.

Even if CN and Williams Street were still one company, I really don't see them caring much for Toonami/AS shows.

Hell, I HIGHLY doubt threats from Sabat and/or Funi would in any way scare them.

The couple has had a hit piece about them calling them Nazis by ANN (Mike Toole) because they had questions about the Vic case. @KEK7go you should entice Nick to get in contact with them (they know of Nick and reference him a lot in their Vic vids). They are actually starting to get dangerously close to FTC violations if in fact cons start blacklisting Chuck on Sabat’s orders. And that opens the door to the FTC stepping in in ways that Sony sure as shit does not want. You don’t want the Fed’s sniffing around asking questions about Sherman Act violations or similar. Especially since it can breach the corporate shield and put individual officers of the companie(s) in personal jeopardy.

Now I am sure on a normal day the forensic accountants at the FTC have far better things to do than in any way deal with Weeb related shit. But what happens when Trump forwards a letter he’s received from Shinzo Abe decrying the depraved and degenerate offense given to Japanese cultural icons just as the Olympics are coming up? At the very least Trump is going to have somebody figure out what the fuck is going on, and to handle it in a way that keeps Abe happy. Trump will have a lot of backing in this from the US Defense and Aerospace industry. Abe just last week placed a surprise order for about 50 more F-35B’s above and beyond their exsiting F-35 order. Plus wanting to pay the US Marines to help them convert their two Helicopter Assault Ships into Jet capable Carriers and teach them how to operate them. And yeah I know it seems a stretch that Schemmel screaming Faggot could impact billions of dollars in military deals. But go look at the current Japanese v South Korea trade spat to see how petty things can get.

I’m just saying Funi’s Frat House antics are coming to light at a moment in time that is strikingly unfavorable to them in every way possible. They have no friends anywhere save twitter, and National Pride is now involved.
