First of all, you do realise that I already said nothing would happen to her anyway (open your eyes and maybe you'll see that text)?
You're correct, I did not read the fine print joke saying "press x to doubt" at the very bottom. We are in agreement that nothing will probably happen, even if we differ on if there is any kind of legal case. I genuinely just don't think there is one.
On top of this, I'm pretty sure Zoë still lives in Canada. If she doesn't, than you can ignore everything I said. If she still is, I'm pretty sure she's been there long enough to apply for citizenship.
I doubt this. She was working on her Chuck Tingle game in LA according to the Vice fluff piece. Then she was vacationing in Japan (most likely using a US passport). I haven't followed Zoe's movement so she may be in Canada now (in which case there is possible jurisdiction even if prosecution will only happen if this becomes so viral normies hear about it), but she definately isn't a citizen. She doesn't meet the requirements. However if she is over there on a work visa, there is a shot (at the very least she could get sent to the US) [/QUOTE]
As I already said in my post, second degree murder requires proof that she made it up. Why are you bringing it up again? As for being optimistic, I didn't say they were going to happen, ever. Why are you acting like I did say it? Besides, these two charges are the only two possible ones for her to get. My point for bringing them up was to showcase how serious what she did is. The whole point of my post was to show just how disgusting the situation was, with a little shitty joke at the end. There was never a call to action.
I'm not trying to be a jerk. Peoples emotions are running hot and I'm seeing a lot of people (not just you) wanting to see police action on something that doesn't seem actionable, but I'm also under the assumption she is in the US under US law as a US citizen. Two charges are possible but the charges you are claiming are very specific with specific criteria. Maybe its different in Canada. I am assuming US law.
The rest of your post has nothing to do with anything. I did not say I was going to do anything, nor do I want to. Also, in Canada, people can been charged without charges being pressed (there was a girl in Newfoundland who's boyfriend convinced her to kill herself, he's in jail for manslaughter and the police were the ones who pressed the charges). Despite this, as I already said, nothing will be done to her, and I doubt it ever will.
I was addressing more than just you. This was a scatter shot response to the people who keep saying they want police action. IMO, this is a stupid thing to ask for and opens a door to much more than it would resolve. I decided giving ideas for people who didn't wanna larp that they were gonna call the cyber police because we know who is responsible because we back traced it, and actually wanted to seek justice while still including my opinion that going and crying to web hosts, payment processors etc. is kinda gay and not my style personally and the same crap Zoe does all the time (however it is understandable because at this point some people might not care and just wanna hit back, and they have a right to be angry).
I guess you wanted to larp about calling the cyber police.
As for law implications, it's already a thing in Canada. You can go to jail there for your posts, it's been that way since the early 2000s.
But congrats on that lawyer pussy. I gotta find me some for my next JO.
To be fair I'm in Murica, not Canada. Your entire cyber police law fantasy (where you still get cucked by the law even if action is taken) all hangs on a US citizen known to be working in the US with a US company being in Canada and magically becoming a Canadian Citizen in less than a few months.
Unsure why you would talk about charging her and how to charge her. I see all this stuff a lot, where people get wound up trying to get a mob to push for legal action without understanding what they are genuinely asking. The hurdles here are beyond the land of the leaf being cucked, it's that there isn't really a case against Zoe even in the worse case scenerio due to international law, speech being the murder weapon and intent being really hard to prove. Canada may be different, but if Zoe isn't in Canada or didn't become a Canadian citizen, all the US will do is tell Canada "1st amendment, fuck off. You have no jurisdiction".
I find when I'm upset and seething with rage, it's best to come to terms with what I cannot do in order to focus on the things I can do. My reply wasn't just for you (all though you were a good example given citing specific charges to prosecute on) it was for all the people who are so upset over a manipulative con artist purposely pushing a mentally ill person to kill himself in order for her to get money and attention demanding legal action to get justice, hoping they take a breath, come to terms with that there isn't really a legal case here, and focus on seeking justice in a realistic way if they are unable to accept what happened and let go.
