Oh my GOD, I remember this girl! Back when she first joined, one of my friends showed me her page and we had a chuckle over how she paired herself with one of the construction machines from Bob The Builder (yeah.. rlly).
Surprisingly her style has made some moderate improvement since then.

That would make one wonder if said thread would allow us to snark at the fics, making jabs that are in line with the rules without coming off as A-Log.

That sort of thing would be needed when you consider what sort of fan-fictions people make that are literally horrors, be it having some pastel horse be subjugated in a rape fantasy or some writing a fic that is literally like Sonichu in having revenge against IRL people or even just sharing a well-known horror like A-Log's fan-fics (One of them involves a turkey).
 
So after a while, I finally decided to draw something (needless to say, it didn't look so great. I'm not posting it out of embarrassment, nor for self promotion/loathing). But what I did find was a few things in the favorites of someone who thought it was good enough to be in their favorites. Want to know what this person thinks is good art? Well...

I'm game for sharing/reading some awful fanfiction in a dedicated thread. I have an account on fanfiction.net that's upwards of 15 years old, surely I've favorited awkward and cringey things in the past. And if not, it wouldn't be too hard to find some.

I'd post the thread but I'm a bit self-conscious about running with someone else's idea.

This son of a bitch is lucky I've been desensitized to lurking around on Tumblr, DeviantArt, and many other places with awful art for more than I should ever have to... Because this is the kind of shit where vomiting in digust at this shit is A-OK, IMHO...

Then again, the same can be said about just about anything that pops up in these glorious parts... So I'm just overreacting here right now.

There's also a guy who has a fetish for feet/pumping gas pedals who follows my fiance just because he drew one panel of a comic of someone pushing down a gas pedal. No joke. And those are only two of the many stories I could tell you....

Yup, DA is like a theme park to me. I too, have a love/hate relationship with the site. I also faced the weird requests, and not to mention, people who don't give any consideration for those who have other things to attend, I had to cancel a commission once after the person who commissioned me wanted to do a comic. But, I was swamped with homework at the time, so he didn't like it. Talk about being inconsiderate.
