Nick Rekieta's Weeb Wars videos & livestreams - MULTIPLE SLURS

Yeah, his wishy-washy commitment on how good it's going to be just sounds like it's a shield if it turns out to be nothing. That way Nick can just say "I may have said it was big but I also said it could be nothing."

It's also honest of him. He's not sure if it's a nothingburger or a wtf.

Either way we're gonna see Law Twitter and KV sperg the fuck out, so it should be good.

So the thing that's coming next week:

- is something nobody expects
- is very weird/strange
- "so weird it could mean either very little or a whole lot"
- Nick doesn't know what it's going to mean or how it's going to work
- people who think they are out of the lawsuit may not be
- is not a filing

Funimation settling might fit that criteria. They already stated in their responses that they never intended to imply that Vic had harassed anyone, so they shouldn't be opposed to making a statement like that. I suppose it's weird that it would be happening now, before the judge has ruled, but there would have been appeals either way. Maybe Ty's terms have come down since the hearing or Funimation got cold feet. Depending on what he gets, it could mean very little or a whole lot.

So if Funi settles, and they know Sabat and whatever cabal he has set up at okatron is going to be in a round 2, does this mean they're going to hang him out to dry so they don't get named in round 2?

Kind of feels that way. I really don't know that anything groundbreaking is going to come from whatever he has to say.

If it was something big I think we'd be seeing evidence of it elsewhere or at least indications of what it could be.

Well, how much info comes out? We have the core of lawyers and defendants. Nick is Ty's mouthpiece. Douchette is the defendants mouthpiece. Any info gets filtered twice.

Funimation has seemingly been in lockdown since the leaks. Monica and Jamie won't signal anything opposite of the narrative.

Unless Ron is getting arrested.

We will see what happens next week though.

Funi isn't going to settle. That's a stupid move right now unless they badly want a NDA. It would be smarter to wait for the judges decision then settle to reduce the settlement amount. If that does happen next week, I'll serenade to a shoe.

Though it's not uncommon to just tie up otaku, NEET, and hikki into a bow. Japan is not at all a fan of people who don't conform properly.

Maybe they shouldn't have a society so stifling and oppressive that people would literally rather kill themselves or become hikikomori than conform to it.

I do see your point and it is most likely what you are saying, but I do want to throw it out there that if funi is looking for a time where it is cheapest to settle, it would definitely be before the judge makes a ruling. They do not even have to admit guilt either, but just talk about how this was all one giant misunderstanding bullshit yada yada yada. Right now funi can offer the lowest amount. If the judge actually does say funi is on the hook for defamation, settlement gets more expensive.

That goes double for the moronic duo too. If there was ever a cheaper time for them to settle(not counting 6 months ago), it is before the judge makes his ruling. Also if marchi was smart, she would be BEGGING monica to settle instead of acting like a little shit just to completely end this suit. She could potentially be dragged back in.

That would be logical for Funimation to do. Funimation and logic have an estranged relationship though.

Seeing as how Funimation has attempted to pile on the Vic smearing I have the feeling that they would risk bankruptcy just to spite him.

Then again if Sony and Toei have been kicking Funimation in the balls for two weeks now they probably want out.

It would be nice for Funimation to retract their investigation just to see Rooster Teeth trip over themselves to retract their investigation.

I still think Funi's too deep in the KoolAid to settle, not this early at least. I'm more thinking what's coming has to do with Marchi. Could be something pretty damning from her gay ops server. Which could still mean nothing because she's dismissed and evidence can't be admitted at this point.

That's just the facebook post from that ahmed chick or wtv. The one who's hand was held and heard from someone that stan bit someone's neck once.
Any relation to Faisal?

Because Ultradavid is an anti white, SJW, corporate shill. He constantly bitches about shit and is a smug prick even though. Or are you asking me who he is?

Forgot to add that UltraDavid is a lawyer himself, so he's basically the antithesis to Nick.
The FGC commentator? Hes a lawyer?

Crunchyroll is a little too in-bed with Funimation, I'm not sure I like that. Crunchyroll's anime, Bungo Stray Dogs, is one of only two anime so far to have actually aired episodes with a replacement Vic VA. I've pointed out they seem to source their VA from Funimation, but the point remains. Right now Viz has shown and said nothing to indicate they won't work with Vic, but if CR took it for some reason it would likely shut down an avenue for Vic.

Funny, when it was first (incorrectly) explained to me, it was as 'female otaku, those who have husbandos and waifus like male otaku, are considered "rotten women" for being into anime/ecchi' and I was like 'aw man, crazy Japan and its sexism, look at it go' but...actual fujoshi are indeed rotten women.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that the person who first explained the term to me was in fact a fujoshi.

I find something strangely amusing about the fact that it seems you popped over to your friend's house in the middle of a crisis (as it was in February) while he was on the phone apparently getting annoyed at someone over his house in California and were like 'hol' up. gonna whip out my phone and get some ship porn for my stash'.

It's really pretty though, love the spinning lights.

I THINK YOU MEAN VOYAGER.

I kid. DS9 is the only correct and cultured answer for 'best star trek'. It's painfully underrated.
What if I unironically like Voyager. Its what got me into Star Trek.

So the thing that's coming next week:

Sean or Sabat coming forward and preemptively making a deal with Ty would tick all those boxes too. Same thing with RT or even Sony.

The only thing is even Funimation settling would mean a lot inherently. Same with anyone else coming forward. And Funimation settling is actually the most expected of any of the defendants to settle.

One of the key points is that whatever it is involves the defendants in some way because he said they may not be out of the lawsuit just yet.

Could it be a con owner coming forward with TI claims or salacious info?
Could it be one of the affiants recanting and spilling the beans? Didnt one of the twins make a wierd facebook post about the real truth?
Could it be Vic being rehired by RT?

Maybe they shouldn't have a society so stifling and oppressive that people would literally rather kill themselves or become hikikomori than conform to it.
Thought that was South Korea

Yeah but the way you tell it then Funimation settling wouldnt be unexpected or wierd

I used to have hopes of this when this all started. I doubt this would happen until a video was released of Monica's sobbing confession that explicitly detailed every aspect of the conspiracy.

They did hire a guy to replace Vic, but then they cut 13% of their workforce so AT&T squeezing their balls with a vise might have them reconsidering what is "good business strategy."

I think it was more of a side project. He did once say that "I will always be Qrow Branwen." I think he liked the role.
I figured he'd be like, "You fired me over nothing. Fuck you and that role." Vic is I'm sure a chill dude, but some stuff is over the line.

Obviously I don't know him personally, and you may be entirely correct.

You might be correct as well. We don't know what happened at Rooster Teeth. If Sabat whipped all the VA's into attacking Vic that might be forgivable. If RT had a more active role then he might tell them to fuck off.

But the wait for discovery continues.

Speaking of Nick it looks like he's having some fun right now on Twitter.

Talk of another big-brain panel, upcoming Drexel appearance, and now a Friday the 13th shitstorm? Exactly what Rackets channel needs. I'm in.

OG. Made it to episode 14 so far.

Mein Neger. I watched the shit out of that when I was a kid. It came on after school.

Just watching Season 3 now. Never seen it. It wasn't brought to much later.

So Rekeita's doing an open lines show. Should be a real shit show.
