I can see why there are people who still like some of PK’s work. I admit that I like a few of her designs, but objectively speaking most of them are really terrible, so the nice ones are either flukes or were originally designed by someone else (and I think they look better in fanart, anyways). It’s not that I think the webcomic is salvageable, but that I wish some of these characters were not owned by pedophiles and zoophiles. I really enjoyed her art when I was in high school (

I genuinely wonder, though, if she knows that there are people who can make parodies of Floraverse or if she’s genuinely that stupid/self-absorbed to think that if you touch the comic or its characters at all it means you actually have to enjoy it.
We all know how much of a narcissist she is but I have to wonder how much of that is actually, by definition, stupidity.

I say the latter. She wants everything to be about her. The Creative Commons license turned out to be a way of her effectively stealing good ideas that she cannot do herself. After all, Jayson had a hand (and another hand, and even the entire arms) on Floraverse, while Alexander helped her with the website and anything involving programming. Then there is how she is of an apparently arrested development.

Did Opa really leave his wife and kid for PK and her group?
Like, even if he hasn't officially, it's pretty clear he probably would, eventually. As for him becoming an attack dog, yeah, I saw that coming. Someone had to fill in for Marl. Their new roommate can't, so Opa seems to be the perfect candidate. Now all he needs is an unnerving attraction to dog dicks and driving the unmarked van PK uses to lure youngsters into.

i dont know if i was the first but i definitely commented on seeing opa becoming the new marl from a mile away, and im sure others did too
i feel like opa became the "main" writer only recently. his 'influence' on flora started with his short stories abt charthur/turf tigers and glip immediately latched onto him, posting the twines/stories on the site and adding art to it. then they started to get buddy-buddy, then the logs came out... now opa can move into marl's position
glip probably uses opa as more of a sounding board than anything.

Late but: Goddamnit I was actually going to commit to the shitpost design discord too, but someone just had to enable the cow. This is why we can't have a schmoopy vn or any other nice thing you guys. Being ignored would have been the perfect way to get milk,too.

Quoting some of my earlier Discord Opa findings. I don't think there is enough evidence to say "Opa left his wife and kid so he could fuck PK," that's wild baseless speculation, but I don't think that PK and their crew helped in any way. I can't remember if there was actual marriage counseling involved, but he definitely spent a lot of time using the Discord as a personal grudge-nursing box and getting one-sided affirmation that she was an evil triggering bitch. The fact that he is now claiming his roommate also displays "abusive" patterns suggests that the problem does not actually lie in others.
