He was flagging people for criticizing or mocking him. There's no deeper reason other than that, it's as petty as it sounds.

But after this video was released, he did some other scummy stuff. First video he made after being outed as a false flagger (which he admitted to while providing the evidence and apologizing himself on the Killstream), he incomprehensibly tried to deny it to his viewers. Then he want on to blame Jim (AKA Internet Aristocrat/Mister Metokur) for getting outed, then made a half-hearted apology on his Tumblr where nobody would find it. Then he went on to spam even more videos than usual, tried to pick fights with Dick Masterson (and blocking him when he gets a retort), and made a pathetic new channel where he (visibly) waddles into stores with a handheld camera and records footage of DVD boxes and commentating on the price (without giving the location of the store so the information is useless). Supposedly he still flags video to this day, as well. Although there's no way to feasibly prove it without Matt outing himself yet again, all signs point to Matt.

Pesos was roasting him, along with others who've also appeared on his show since, while Ralph was in the middle of a stubborn, stupid self-destructive streak of alcohol and drug abuse. They were roasting and criticising his destructive addictive behaviors and stupidity in letting them get so bad and public. Someone doing that is more of a friend than anyone that was participating in the self-destructive behavior with Ralph, or ignoring it to avoid conflict.

Ralph would look like a huge dillhole and hypocrite if he was to hold a grudge against anyone that behaved like Dame Pesos at that time. By featuring Pesos on current streams, Ralph acknowledges that he himself was wrong and stupid during his latest public binge, while knowing he'll receive just as much, or more, ridicule if he fucks up and starts using again.
Best thing is, he doesn't have to articulate any of that in words and seem gay cuz of it, but he does get to show some self-awareness, humility and willingness to improve on the obvious, glaring character flaws everyone in his audience can see

Most of all, though, is that Dame Pesos is a hilarious and loved-by-all type o' dude, makes streams better when he's on 'em, and it'd be another death knell for Ralph's internet career if he were to ban Pesos from his shows

I kinda disagree. His content is extremely boring but as a person he has a fairly unique voice in unintentional comedy.
During the Gamergate era and before being disavowed by the skeptics Matt used to present himself as this shitlord with a talent for triggering the libs, who really knows how to handle the internet and described himself as "one of the most red pilled motherfuckers around" but when you look at him in reality he's a literal cuck with Starbucks Soy Latte running in his veins instead of blood. I'd say that's funny and interesting enough to mock him for it.
