I kind of doubt he's staying off facebook because his lawyer said so. I think it's more likely that Barb is keeping him busy with barbage runs and fetching q-sands.

As to the substance of what you wrote, I agree that probably is more likely as the lawyer likely doesn't know thing one about Chris or what he does online.

Now, as this is a random thoughts section.... "Q-sands" why? Why would you have a word SPECIFICALLY for a quarter of a sandwich. Does he or barb divide sandwiches in 1/4ths so regularly that he needs his own cwcism for it? Or is it just one time he guessed she had about a 1/4 of a sandwich left at that restaurant and on the spot made up Q-sands? He makes my brain hurt...

I actually two thoughts on my mind.

1) Do we actually care about Chris more than those who claim to care about Chris? Because during the fire and piercing events most people seemed worried far more about Chris than Anna or any of his friends. Heck as far as I can remember, most donations to Chris were given from this forum whilst Anna did jack shit.

2) Does Chris actually remember the trolls? As in does he remember individual trolls such as Liquid and Clyde or have they all become one big grey pile of goo that he labels trolls? I'm asking because the only troll he seems to remember was Bluespike, but that is mostly due to weens calling him just to scream Julaay.

This, plus: Chris does not care about his legal troubles. At all. As soon as he left the court house, he stopped caring.

Edit: And to add onto this, @timtommy made a good point in that nothing of importance happened at this hearing. Chris had nothing to comment on.

That exactly. I was sperging out in my own personal head about this years ago. Why? Why is this a word?

I suspect Chris and Blarb have a personal language shared between themselves and that shit like "q-sands" is one of the idiosyncratic invented words they share.

Nah, Chris was just abbreviating things in that message in general. Like somewhere in the message he starting abbreviating mitsubishi to "Mitsu" as well. Or chicken burrito to "chick burrito". A generous explanation is that maybe he wrote the message on a phone so long words were hard to type, but even then, that's iffy. Autocorrect should keep the long words from being that hard to type.

What is he supposed to say? It was neither a victory or defeat. Nothing of note happened from Chris' perspective. Noone expressed support or opposition to what he was saying. His situation did not change, except that the period of limbo he is living in got extended a little bit.

He doesn't use facebook to update us or anyone else on the situation, he uses it to rant about things that bother him.

Granted, you never know when something will trigger a rant, so I wouldn't have been shocked if he found something to set him off. But I didn't really expect it either.

Seriously, this has been baffling me for like... a year now. As something of an SRPG sperg, the fact he owns a copy of a hardcore, grind-intensive strategy game is just.. really out of character.

That's one of his many rants on Megan, and I have noticed something - In every one of them he demands his DVD's back (if she has or had them it's not the point of this post) is he more pissed at her that she supposedly has some of his stuff an that's what's made her akin to Mary Lee Walsh an added her to his own personal Axis of Evil or is he genuinely pissed off from being his sweetheart? Because in nearly every rant he focus's on the DVD's more than anything else.
