He's made WELL more then 500$. And lets not forget you started that by trolling in a Youtube channel of some one reviewing one of his comics FWIW.

So the people who jumped on your campaign FIRST have to wait last to get their books. That super duper isnt cool Ethan. And its not a good way to reward people who are first movers.

I backed the first round at a autograph tier and I still havent gotten mine.

Assuming 5-7 business days for the USPS ((which should only take 2-3)) it means if I get it today you sent it at the earliest the 20th

I am in the low 5000s for contribution #...so.....I am grumpy a tad bit seeing people who bought in later have already gotten their books

Yeah, yours might show up today. I signed a ton of Cyberfrog chromiums on Friday that went out yesterday, and then yesterday I signed about 2000 Salamandroid chromiums which probably are going out today.

100%, but I haven't finished making mistakes yet, so let me get this fulfillment behind me and then we'll assess what bolts need to be tightened.

To start with, though, the book needs to be well underway. Not completed. That leaves backers out of the process, and I think they want to watch it come together.

But yeah, Zack and I are talking about this stuff every day.

I'm fully on board with this. Every time I go to my Local Comic shop I see less and less I want to buy from their new runs. I largely purchase backstock and statues, as well as their manga and trades... So let these weirdos and freaks have the mainstream comics, doesn't matter to me anymore.

I barely watch Yaboi and EVS anymore just out of 'I don't really care what's going on in Star Wars and MCU and MARVEL or DC comics' it's not them, it's just... I don't have the drive to listen to the same shit over and over.

Putting the president in your book is fine, but to put Bill Clinton in your book in this specific year at this specific time in this specific place doing this specific thing while you, the creator, say it's not political is BS @FROG. Just because it's a historical event doesn't mean it isn't political. It is a very political historical event.
And also saying "no statement is being made" is BS, you got your main character commenting on it. "It is wrong" -Cyberfrog 1998

But hey, this is only a problem if you think comics should be apolitical. Right Ethan?

If William Clinton is still the president of the American Govt in hiding/resistance to the Swarm 20 years later, it is very relevant. The shadow over the legitimacy of his presidency and the knowledge of the people around him that he possibly skirted impeachment due to the invasion and their ambiguous loyalty to the office is a very interesting story hook.

I do not trust Ethan Van Sciver to write that story based on what I've read. It might be relevant in the next issue, it probably will, but it wasn't here. I have no problem with it as a premise, but Ethan's been talking a lot of shit about politics in comic books and I think this is just a bit hypocritical. Inserting "What if Bill Clinton survived the aliens" into the Frog book is weird considering Ethan's policy.
