TGWTG Allison Pregler / Obscurus Lupa / Movie Nights - The vindictive leader of #ChangeTheChannel, GOTIS personified, vendetta against The Cinema Snob

Yeah, by all accounts Phelous is a good guy, but I could never get into his brand of humor. His voice is just too obnoxious and grating. Why he's content on cucking himself by staying with a shrieking harpy like Lupa I'll never know.

I'll take a stab and say that maybe he's unsure that any other girl will ever wanna approach him, an this crazy bimbo is his best shot at female interaction.

Another idea: she’s there for him to point to when people in his life talk about him not having a girlfriend at his age so he can tell them, “get off my back”.

I think, Alison was the initiator of their relationship and he is fine with how things are going. He has no balls to leave her, but on the other hand he doesn't have to, because they live in a different countries and barely see each other, so tagging her on Twitter is enough.

Haven't Phelous and Alison been dating for almost a decade?

All these years and no ring? No living together?

I mean I don't like to get up in people's business, especially people I don't give two shits about, but come on people. Piss or get off the pot.

I'd be surprised if they've even fucked. Lupa seems like the asexual type, and I've suspected Phelous is in the closet for some time. He just pings my gaydar for some reason.

Just curious since the two are dating, but what's the consensus on Phelous?

Somewhere I read he was seen as the only cool member of Channel Awesome because he once made fun of Doug "acting like a real director," but watching Phelous' videos, they can be entertaining and even informative but his sense of humor is often puerile, autistic, and repetitive. And I get the feeling he hates criticism as much as the rest of CA.

I'm mixed on Phelous' recent output. I actually do find some of the animated movie reviews funny, but in the back of my mind I can't help but think there's something wrong with making tons of videos about cheapo cash-in cartoons that litter bargain bins and Dollar General stores.

He's ok, most recently he really cracked me up when talking about the Polish poster for Ghostbusters.

Just curious, has she given any reaction to NC's The Wall review?
I mean, if she did would it be any different from any other dickweed who sperged out from top to bottom about how the review is wrong an etc. Like, this horse has been beaten to death so fast it was already reduced into glue.
Given that her wrath is aimed at Brad now, I’m not sure she’s gonna respond unless she’s some massive Pink Floyd fan.

Allison discovered that Dana Carvey was not quite the egomaniac she thought he was. Ok...why did she think he was in the first place? What did he say or do that made her think that? Maybe she thought he had a huge ego because he stepped away from show business for a couple years to better raise his sons. Could be how he turned down an opportunity to take over Letterman's Late Night show to instead make a sketch show staffed with then unknown comedy writers who Carvey hired because they were "badass nerd pirates" that he wanted to give free reign to do whatever they wanted and used his clout at the time to make that happen. It's possible it could it be how he apologized to those writers for possibly ruining their careers (the show was not initially well-received) and that he'd do his best to help get them jobs post-cancellation. But enough about what a self-centered monster Dana Carvey was...

BRAD ALERT! BRAD ALERT! BRAD ALERT!

At this point, I think Allison will get over Channel Awesome before she could ever get over Brad. Why couldn't he have just swept her off her feet like the fairy tale she imagined in her head? She won't let go now...ever, It's like...

Oh, wait. Brad didn't actually date Allison in the first place. It's more like...

He's a white man who's successful in the entertainment business, who as far as I know isn't virtue signalling 24/7. He's automatically suspect.

Pregler censoring Trump and Louis CK. :story: She is truly in the League of Exceptional Twitter Users.

Dana Carvey seems like a pretty cool dude. I'm surprised that Dana's apology hasn't been used by the #ChangeTheChannel crusaders as some kind of ammo.

I could see that for Linkara but Phelous seems like he could pick up chicks if he wanted to. It almost seems like he actually likes Allison.
But neither have made any effort to get married or even live together. In the time they've been together, Lindsay started dating Todd, broke up with him, met another dude, got married, and is now considering having kids. Brad got divorced, had a few other relationships, and has now been married to Laura for two years. And there are plenty of other examples.

I just don't think Phelous cares enough about a relationship for it to matter.
