Ben is clearly trying to be Alec, without realizing that the beauty of the Asperchu Saga is how Chris was the one getting furiously mad while Alec was unflappably civil. Asperchu bothered Chris by its very existence, while this slime stuff is only bothering him because Ben is bothering him about it. Chris is the one who's coming off as more rational in these interactions (Ben using "geocide", one of the most loaded words in the English language, to describe Chris de-sliming the slime people, while Chris calmly explains that they just became normal humans), and that's not looking good on Benny-Boy.

Yeah this had potential. If Ben would have just carried on his comic ignoring what Chris had done and saying no Chris what you say doesn't matter (The asperchu route) it could have been funny. It also could have been funny if he'd have found a way to undo it in story making Chris look like he failed and continued to do this as Chris got more frustrated. Instead we get autistic Twitter screeching and pronoun sperging.

I think he's the only person who's ever said they were aiming for their own saga, and, to quote the CWCki's page on w-e-e-n-s, "The best trolls are chosen by fate."

Also note that he says he wants to spark "The Slime Saga" as opposed to "The Ben Saga", which just makes me think he's aiming to be Asperchu 2 even more - note that we almost never say "The Alec Saga", but "The Asperchu Saga" (granted that's because Alec wasn't the only troll involved in the saga, but still).

From what I've gathered Ben Saint likes to latch on to people more popular then him and then create the public appearance that he's a big e-celeb despite the fact he has less then 15k youtube subs. Along with that the biggest thing that he ever produced was his cwc lecture over 3 years ago so he's probably been itching to recapture that relevance and assuring his legacy is something more then just a clout chasing e-celeb wannabe

I'm also surprised he doesn't have a thread in his own right considering how exceptional he's behaved in the past along with what he's doing now
