Saw this on lipjan's twitter (@mrlipjan) feed, and it's a good point. Kat's income is non-negligible, so it's worth determining approximately how much she brings in.

Seattle's minimum wage this year is $12/hr. Let's assume, given her apparently ever-changing schedule, that she works an hourly wage job, so that applies. Let's also give benefit of the doubt, since we don't know whether she's gotten any raises or anything, and use that $12/hr figure as our basis.

She's off at least 2 days a week, and it sounds like she often heads to work in the late afternoon. So the question is how many hours is she working? I think, to be safe, we should assume 25-35 hours a week. No idea what benefits (like insurance) she gets, so I'm not going to factor anything like that in. Let's assume she works 50 weeks out of the year, just to again give the benefit of the doubt and find the low end of her income.

So we get the following: $12/hr * 25-35 hrs/wk * 50 wk/yr = $15,000-$21,000 / yr. Assuming it's spread over 12 months, she contributes PRE-TAX income of ~$1250-$1750. Take out 1/3 for taxes, and you get something in the neighborhood of $837.50-$1172.50. So not massive, but certainly a decent amount, considering how much Phil's bringing in.
Sorry for late posting here I just have a little more info on Washington wages for ya.

With the new wage increase it was to $15/hour but that’s if your employer doesn’t provide health insurance. If they do it’s $12/hour.

Now as you might not be aware, Washington to the West of the Cascades is solid blue and unions are everywhere. Now if Kat is working in any major retailer she will be REQUIRED to join the union that covers her store.

Unions in her area usually have a $250 or so initiation fee that could be payed up front or would be taken out in $25 increments from your paycheck. Now don’t forget monthly union dues. $50-$100 off a pay check depending where you work.

For benefits it varies from company to company but it’s decent: doctors, medication, psychotherapy and paid sick time off. Again depending on the company. This will apply to any family members or departments so DSP should be covered by Kat’s stuff.

That stuff has to only be if she's above 32 hours a week though right?
Yep. Barring exceptions in union contracts which usually has a set minimum amount of work at 32 hours. But, in places where work minimums are not set union dues are for everyone even people under 32 hours will still get benefits sometimes. If you know the place of employment you can find out what their benefits and shit is.

It gets weird fast with benefits, but rule of thumb is 32 and over you get the benefits. But if the company has more then 501 employees they are required to give insurance.

edit: added information and removed the autism on my end.

So I saw this clip on twitter and just can’t comprehend the level of stupidity. This shit seriously makes no sense, there are always people lurking on streams, the amount of people that comment on videos or actually talk in a stream is always lower than the total view count.

Imagine this being your job and you’re salty as shit that people might only have you on as background noise and might (shockingly) care more about gameplay than having a conversation with a man across the country.

I’ve gotta chalk this up to a combination oh his obvious greed over expecting everyone to donate with ass kissing comments or questions, and his own loneliness and desire to talk to other humans. Like, I’ve never heard a streamer cry and insinuate that the only reason you should be watching them play a video game is if you have the intent to essentially distract them from the game endlessly with small talk....

Like this is darks worth....you don’t watch him for some high level gameplay or game strategies, you watch him because he’s another person that’ll talk back to you and have a conversation? Like god damn that shit sounds so sad lmao

Blows my mind aswell.
All those guys that donate to him so he talks with them could simply look for a Twitch thot. They could look for one that has low views and donate, tip her and cheer. They would get better interaction and maybe see some ass or tits.
If they're good paypigs they woud likely get some premium snapchat or means to chat with her.

His paypigs are utter faggot cucks.

I started noticing lately, how much unnecessary movements he makes, more like ticks he can't control. But he does it so much.

Last night's answer to a question asking if he had/wished he had any sister's/brothers, leads me to believe his concept of friends and family is warped by his lack of empathy. He said that when he was young, his cousin lived in the same house as him. He twice noted that she was not, however, his sister while not saying she was like a sister to him. He went on to say that later, she moved out and he was an only child. Thus experiencing what it is like to be both while remarking that when he was the only child in the house he had a lot of friends. He didn't say that those friends were like brothers/sisters to him, just that he had them. Knowing a second child was in the home when he was 'young', this casts a different light on the Wolverine story and if there could be more to it. Was she in the store with them? Surely they didn't leave this cousin at home alone while they went out shopping. Couple this with the very odd tales of being given a toy in a box to 'hold and look at' while in a store and perhaps his uncontrolled spending habits stem from a feeling that he was deprived as a child.

Why does he keep swishing the water in his mouth? That's not how you hydrate you fucking goon

There are many theories, but personally I think Phil goes long periods without brushing his teeth and he gets stale-mouth so he swishes. I'm heavily suspicious of his personal hygiene standards just in general.

Based on my research into post nasal drip, the constant flow of snot down your throat and into the back of the mouth cause chronic bad breath. He might be swishing because his mouth tastes like ass.

Could be why she cringed when asked on stream to give a kiss to Phil, even on the cheek was a problem for her.

Yeah pretty much. What else does he offer? If people in his chat cared about good gameplay, game facts/history, or even just someone sharing an equal love of gaming with the viewer thousands of other people do that better then Phil. The only reason to be on Phil's channel is Phil. Won't say everyone is there to have a conversation with him, but everyones reason to be there has to be centered around Phil himself there is no reason other reason.

Tomorrow D$P is taking the day off to go to the grocery store and run errands. He announced that he has 'no money in his bank account. Zero. Not a dollar to his name'. Is he's going to use a credit card to buy groceries?

Additionally, while given a $20 tip to buy 'the Untitled Goose Game', D$P apparently is unable to buy this game without chat buying credits off his Amazon Wishlist. It was apparently impossible for him to set that $20 aside or to buy the game the day he was given the tip.

Holy fucking shit.

So, remember how DSP said he'd buy/play Untitled Goose Game which DJRuno1 specifically tipped $20 for yesterday?

Oh wow, that was just...

Someone (DJRuno1, long-time viewer/fan) was using cheers to ask if DSP would play Untitled Goose Game if someone would gift it to him.

View attachment 961665

DSP said yes, and DJRuno1 proceeded to tip him $20 so he could buy the game on the Switch. Before even thanking him for the tip, DSP started to explain what DJRuno1 should have done instead: he should have bought him a code, instead of tipping him $20 like this. Like... wtf.

The reaction of the battered wife:

And to add insult to injury, DSP then refused to put him on the leaderboard as the top tipper (of the "slow" stream, btw), because the stream was ending soon anyway, even though he kept streaming for almost 15 minutes after getting the $20 tip...

-edit- Here's the whole thing in the form of a clip:

I can't even imagine how lonely/unloved/exceptional a person must feel/be to let themselves be treated like that by someone this ungrateful...

Well...he flat out said he isn't going to buy it and that someone has to gift him the credits for the Nintendo shop! Oh my lord.

Turbo Story.png

Clip:

"I wanted to play Untitled Goose Game, but I can't afford it now. If someone actually gifts me the Nintendo Credits, that's the very first thing I would play. I could play that this weekend and I want to play it this weekend, and I'm pissed of now that I can't, because I was pumped to play it.

So yeah, number one: if anyone was going to go to my Amazon wish list, please consider getting me the Nintendo shop credits. I think it's $15 plus tax, FYI. So please consider that, but yeah, again; I can't afford anything new right now. If anyone gifts credits on PSN or Nintedo shop, that would help out tremendously. Okay?"

Battered housewife DJRuno1's reaction:

Let's be honest: this is the only way these people could learn - the hard way. Thanks for the money, dummy!

-edit- Whoops... looks like someone is taking some action:

Yeah, this could get spicy. I'll open up a thread about this thing.

God, really makes you wonder where kat’s money is going. And why he would pay bills knowing he’s buying groceries the next day. Griftsydephil
