Just double checking. I haven’t paid much attention to most states but I wasn’t certain if this was a common thing or just a Texas thing.

Hell, maybe he was never aware of the casting couch, of Sabat's iron fist even when he was still in Texas all those years ago since he was typically more involved with ADV than FUNimation. This is something you never hear from LA voice-actors, for instance, on top of them never backstabbing each other. I don't think even the New York voice-actors had this problem, it was mainly financial and it's all but dead up there, now.

Projection is one hell of a drug, but it paints a crazy picture as to what they willingly put up with on a daily basis and don't think much of it, apparently.

Remember how Nick’s first stream about Vic was with Doug Tennaple and Doug was basically saying something like: “there’s no way they would lie about this, the VA’s I’ve worked (in LA) with would never even think to stab a fellow VA in the back.” Just goes to show how much a a cesspit the Texas VA industry is compared to HOLLYWOOD! And when Hollywood looks standup compared to Texas you know those Funi-VAs have found new and interesting depths of depravity to sink to.

Right? I post it to a Discord that he says is private, and apparently I'm publicly doxing Shane. But he posts it--without redacting anything like he did with the screenshots I linked in Nick's server where we laughed at the fact Doucette's head has fat--and it's not doxing. Like, look at the entire exchange between us. he pulls out everything he can to claim he didn't dox anyone!

Rate me optimistic, but I pray for the poor soul who draws inspiration from RWBY but fails to note the series' major flaws in accordance with what makes it good, and especially for the co eds and teens who think to make their own homemade manga. Even more so if they think to capture the mindset and spirit the crack teams at Rooster Teeth who aren't Monty Oum to put into their own work.

My friend, RWBY isn't like the old "amerime" of times past, oh no. It's something even more honeypot and decieving, drawing upon the little known themes and aspects of what the West and the States likes out of anime for their enjoyment. Much like how your avatar depicts a gynoid with human skin, like the Terminator series of killer cyborgs, where the only line of uncanny valley only exists in minute but very apparent traits. RWBY avoids most everything that's killed the shittiest of amerime DOA and blurs the line so much that it almost does away with the line completely. Oh sure, it may have fooled 11 year old you, and the crack team down at Rooster Teeth still use 3D Custom Girl like shit, but you underestimate the American consumer: they won't care as long as it's flavored right.

My favorite part is how Dao just decides to believe everything Lemoine says as fact because Ty didn't respond for comment.

I kinda have to disagree in principle, most of what killed anime in USA was the fact that it was in many cases altered because USA thinks that children are too stupid to understand things, and they also decided to target children audiences with anime.

As some examples Sailor Moon, Sakura Card Captors and Saint Seiya, all 3 altered trying to reach children as target audience and all 3 failed in USA, Latin America got them uncensored and the 3 were very successful... Funnily enough most children grew up watching uncensored Saint Seiya and it is considered one of the best and most popular animes in places like Brazil and Mexico.

Almost forgot, also RWBY is a show that is entirely based on style, many times I have said that If you want to see what is wrong with RWBY all you have to do is read One Piece, One Piece is also a stylish show, but the world building, character development and even the deaths of characters is handled well, unlike RWBY.

You can make many pararels between both shows and most of the time One Piece shows all the mistakes RWBY makes after watching both side by side.
