The thing about Asperger syndrome is that the majority of doctors are not even diagnosing people with that anymore or even considering it a legit disorder. For those who can't read between the lines, Colt is NOT talking about a case worker working through some housing office, but a case worker who works through the LGBT center she goes to. In other words, she can ONLY work with a T-friendly case worker. Can't just go to the regular housing office or other social service provider like everybody else looking for housing or needing case workers. Also, fucking boohoo on the "tried every resource in this city" part. Bitch, you had a SUBSIDIZED APARTMENT (at least one, maybe two?) lined up by the city of Chicago and chose to bail for Jacksonsville.

This is one of the drawbacks for actual gays that goes with the general improvement in their lot. Yes, they can marry, big corporations support them, most people don't hate them for how they were born. But on the flipside you have to deal with bandwagon gays claiming gay when they... are not gay. It's better than being systematically discriminated against by laws and society, but man, it's gotta grind sometimes. I think with some of the Peak Trans stories we've seen recently (like Rhys and Yaniv), I would hope we are hitting an era of pushback that isn't just driven by Maude Flanders types.

Wow, I thought that Colt was grateful for the shelter? What did they do to make her split?

Also, she ditched her subsidized housing the first time for a two week trip out to Oregon, after which she returned (I still assume because she was asked to pull her own weight) and then somehow, in a city like Chicago, managed to find MORE subsidized housing basically immediately upon return. She gave that up for a SIX DAY (!!!) trip to Florida, returned and exploited her Jew card, now she's complaining about it? Bitch, you brought this on yourself. I can't be the only one thinking the case worker quit out of exasperation from working with clients like Colt. the main area is a common space that anyone can use. It’s almost exclusively used by non-LGBT youth, usually people eating lunch from the adjacent Whole Foods or ghetto trash eating pizza and grape drank from 7/11.

OK, this one is better. Time to "drop your hoe stories", which, in a BPD group is like opening the gates at the Hoover Dam. I honestly don't know much about BPD beyond Kiwi armchair psychologizing, but it does seem to be co-morbid with a certain amount of sluttiness and over-the-top sexualized behavior.
