1. Vic is a sexual predator and has gotten away with it for 2-3 decades and is now using the support of his loyal fans to sue his apparent victims into the ground (who probably aren't as wealthy as he is, anyway).
OR
2. Vic is innocent of all the criminal accusations thrown his way. Even if you think he's a scumbag for banging/attempting to bang women half his age and/or cheating on his fiance, nothing he has done warranted his total deletion from an industry his has worked in for 20 years and being dragged by colleagues he once considered friends.
I guess there's more of a "neutral" stance, 3. Vic has perhaps crossed personal boundaries, but nothing that would be criminal or even predatory - maybe inconsiderate, but there should have been a warning/discussion about it, instead of his very public shame-firing and destruction.
The first two, at least, inflame a lot of frustration and anger in the people watching. Add in Jamie, Monica, and Ron (with a dash of Sabat, Schemmel, D.C. Dickless, FUNi, et al) attacking, insulting, and threatening the fanbase, specifically anyone who supports Vic or even questions their narrative. Though Vic has said very little publicly and has NOT attacked anyone, he did ask people to correct misinformation and filed a lawsuit. Which was taken as a declaration of attack/war/whatever by KV.
A neutral in this instance would (logically) distance themselves from both camps, especially if he/she didn't know who they could believe and just stay completely out it.
When it comes to Chuck - there's part of me that wants to cut the dude some slack, but he needs to get his head out of the clouds. This isn't friends getting into a petty fight. Well, there's plenty of petty motivations, but this has escalated way beyond a simple conflict. One group of people are STILL trying to destroy every aspect of Vic's career and they've done it publicly. And the TEXAS CLIQUE are the ones who made it public. So, for the people who were paying attention, many of us saw a man get maliciously destroyed in three fucking weeks and for what? Because they don't have receipts for anything. Not to mention, these were people who were supposed to be Vic's friends. They can claim to want him "to get help" all they want, and that works for some people - but more see right through that bullshit. There was nothing compassionate, moral, ethical, or humane with what Monica, Jamie, Ron, Sabat, Schemmel, ect. did. If I were looking at this from KV's perspective, I'd see a "predator" that was so close to be taken out, only to weaponize a fanbase that he "groomed" as children to save his ass, again. People are going to be angry. And they're going to voice that, no matter what.
