Funny to me that he managed to make his playthrough of this game so much worse then other streamers. Most other streamers are at least having fun with their viewers by carrying massive amounts of packages or trying to challenge themselves in other ways but DSP just manages to turn it into every other game where he screams "THIS GAME SUCKS!"

I can't wait till he snaps and just starts ranting about Kojima for an hour straight.

Played about 2 hours now, he's gonna be real cringy during the kahpyright music parts, lots of "lalala" and clowning up. God forbid he doesnt get some YT shekels.

I didn't even think about that.

Is there a way to mute the music? If not, that will be the first complaint. Game is stupid because it's costing him money.

I found it too difficult to judge if the talk was more about Phil's involvement with Youtube in general, rather than his reaction to the music in this game specifically. What I have seen some do is a weird hybrid MP session. Since you can’t directly interact with each other they add people as friends and use this sync mechanic to help the streamer build the roads and other useful stuff.

How to troll Phil in Death Stranding for free:

Build a structure in the landscape. Upgrade it until you unlock the ability to play music from it. Pick the most obnoxiously loud song (that Bring Me the Horizon song is my personal choice). Repeat 100,000 times. No need to give him a penny. You're welcome!

Ya people have been having fun with the interaction you can do and it works well as something to stream. If DSP was willing at all to actually interact with his audience he could be doing something really fun but he is too scared of da trolls and of course just wants to move to the next game on the assembly line.

What are you talking about? DSP absolutely interacts with his chat and even welcomes such interactions in the form of subbing, tipping, and cheering.

It's amusing how quickly he has taken to harping on about his family ever since the reveal of Jasper Two-Stacks. Before he couldn't use it as a sympathy-scoring buzzword, but now that there is a feline "furbaby" in his household, he can use that phrasing to his heart's content

I coerce them into giving me this money through sob stories and fake emergencies, and when they don't give me enough I borrow it from my parents. Yep family life as a mature adult human male sure is tough."

This game's combat is so simplistic that I thought even Phil would find it easy. I'm like 20 hours in and haven't encountered a (human) enemy yet that I couldn't beat by running up and mashing square. No combos, there's a dodge and a parry but they aren't really necessary, apparently enemies can block but I've never seen it. Maybe it gets harder later? Anyway, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he sucks at it and decided to blame the game's 'outdated tutorials' because they don't pause the game and he was in the middle of khambat, which renders him temporarily illiterate. Also can't be arsed to look in the in-game help menu, fuck that just make your stream chat do it.

Hey, remember when Phil played Sekiro and got really buttmad about the tutorials that popped up during combat in the early game? Those paused the game, but they were outdated too, I guess. Everything Phil plays is outdated.

Here's an idea. Maybe they put immutable copyright music in the game so maggot streamers couldn't make money off their game.

Hey, remember when Phil played Sekiro and got really buttmad about the tutorials that popped up during combat in the early game? Those paused the game, but they were outdated too, I guess. Everything Phil plays is outdated.

I THOUGHT there was a game where he complained that the tutorial paused the game and forced him to read it, and you're right: it was Sekiro.

So if the game pauses to display the tutorial it sucks and if the game has the tutorial in the bottom of the screen it sucks.

Also, if the game had an actual tutorial simulator in the home base or something, DSP would probably still complain that "it was too long ago and who is supposed to remember it?"

Edit - 25:40 - Game fucked him up with the tutorial.

26:33 - DSP literally screams "STOP THIS!" during a tutorial.
