Johnny Depp was able to win a defamation case and deemed not libel-proof. Johnny Depp has made millions compared to Vic's career.

How is Vic libel-proof when Johnny Depp isn't?
Libel proof? Do you mean public figure? Sorry, I'm a little hung over. I thought you meant Ty should bring up Depp's TV remote...

In the case of the TV remote, it should be gifted to Ron Toye attached to the biggest, blackest buttplug on the market. Then it would really be an assault weapon.

But Depp's defamation case could be useful to fight the public figure bullshit.

Remember when we found out Amber Heard was the real person who abused Johnny Depp and not the other way around. This is all the things she did to him.

Threw a remote at him? Her and Ron should meet one day. Seriously how did Depp win this defamation case when he's more of a public figure than Vic could ever be?
Well I guess it can be used as an example in this case.
But would the judges accept it ?
If that thing were to be thrown on Twatter I'd like to see how the dumbasses of KickVic will reply.

More butthurt from Jason yesterday morning, with a pathetic compliment from the BrainleT himself.

Nothing says "I'm not bothered by this" quite like saying it doesnt bother you. Masterful move Jason, you really know how to handle people trying to rile you up. 4000iq play, 10/10.

So, I saw this on twitter:

Didn't think it was real at first, so I scrolled through Funimation's FB myself, found it and took this screenshot. It is real. Funimation associated with Momokun on their official FB page.

This post is from October 2017. I'm not sure when the whole Momokun debacle happened. (for those of you who don't know: Momokun is a fat cosplayer who went through a convention actually grabbing guys' asses without their consent, filming it in the process. She later blamed it on her ADHD.) Even if the debacle happened after this was posted on their FB, that doesn't excuse them leaving it up. They remove Vic from credits, remove interviews with him from DVD's, basically trying to unperson him and erase him completely from their history, but leave this post up. There's no evidence regarding Vic's supposed harassing behavior, but there's clear evidence when it comes to Momokun.

I suppose harassment only bothers Funimation when it happens to women.

We don't condone harassment of any kind (unless it's directed toawrds men.)

The libel-proof argument is DoA. If Vic were libel-proof nothing would have happened in February. Kickvic would have happened and Monica would have made up her story and then everyone would have gone "So? We already knew Vic was a mega rapist." and then nothing would have changed. The cons who knew all along would just continue to ignore it, the fans who were fans despite his horrors would keep supporting him so much that the cons and companies would be unable to drop him.

The entire argument for libel-proof is that all the damage has already been done to such a degree that damage cannot be done any further than it is. You could say he ate babies, and it wouldn't do anything to him (therefore can't cause damage) because no one would really care, or people already hate him so much that they can't cancel him any harder than he's already been canceled. Even after this campaign he's still not libel-proof, because it could get worse.

you've got to be fucking kidding me so funimation fired vic for alleged sexual harassement which their is no proof of,and basically remove him from everything.

but their is clear evidence that momokun is a harraser.

What's funny is Momokun is on the Broken Staircase list.
Funimation is perfectly willing to associate themselves with controversial personalities.

Funimation definitely can't stop to amaze me by how much they can fall.
Even when they reach the bottom they manage to dynamite it in order to reach new levels of idiocy.

this really shows the hypocrisy of funimation.

they don't condone harassment of any kind unless it's directed at men.
I said it before and I’ll say it again: it’s time to consider the notion that whoever’s handling Funimation in this lawsuit is as KV as the VAs. And they’ve managed to not be open about it.

IIRC, Momo did grope a few women. Point still stands though, considering that a lot of folks on KV probably don't recognize women as potential abusers (especially ugly fat chicks like Momo).

Speaking of Funimation, I noticed something peculiar. I don’t know if anyone is aware, but today is Caitlin Glass’s birthday (she turns thirty-eight). Several fans from both ISWV and KV are wishing her a happy birthday today on Twitter.

But here’s the weird part: I checked through Twitter handles by various Funimation voice actors and as of right now, not a single one of them wished her a happy birthday, which was odd: not Clark, not Palencia, not Mills, not Tatum, not Grelle, not Phillips, not Clinkenbeard, not Schemmel, not Sabat, not even Funimation itself. That could change, of course. But still...

Maybe I’m just overthinking it, but Funimation has wished happy birthdays to many voice actors before to guys like Aaron Dismuke, Jamie Marchi and even Monica Rial. Hell, even TOEI wished Monica a happy birthday and several VA’s had no problem retweeting and liking it. And yesterday, Funimation wished some rando named Alejandro Saab. Considering how nice Caitlin has been towards these people and vice versa, it’s kinda odd that they don’t wish her a happy birthday.
