Hell, some of their witnesses might have even set themselves up for perjury charges, by the looks of it, and now the Horowitz report is pulling in so close that even CNN is spinning the wheels as hard as they can to avoid outright talking about the altered 302 forms.
If there's so much as a breath of wind left in the impeachment hearing's sails by the time that report drops, I can promise you that it's all going to get sucked out the second that the report lands on the desk with a 1,000+ page thud. Trump is hardly an angel. He's a real estate tycoon, and rich. You aren't either of these things without being at least a little cutthroat and shady. He has had his share of controversial actions in the past, including birtherism and his eminent domain dealings. I don't think that his political run is purely altruistic patriotism.
