Nah, Lure's already surpassed Gengar. Gengar will just kill you and turn you into another ghost. Chandelure fucking burns your soul to nothingness.

There is also the Ghost/Bug from Gen 3..that eats your soul if you look at it's back.
Thats shedninja and there more fucked up stuff then just that.

How about the fact that it's its own living thing serperate from the pokemon it was split split from.

There so many possble ways to look at it, including the SOMA way.

Does it has memories from the pokemon it was once part of, if it does how much?

Could you say it's like in SOMA.
SOMA Spoilers
In SOMA when the brain is copied there now two "living" versions of that person.

One in the Orginal body, and one in the new body that Brain Copy went way.

A lot of Ghost Pokémon are also implied to be former humans too.

My personal favorite entries, concerning creepiness would have to be: Kadabra's Fire Red entry;

It happened one morning - a boy with extrasensory powers awoke in bed transformed into Kadabra. (FireRed)

But the weirdest one has to go to Darumaka's White entry.

The Dorklyst: The 15 Most Disturbing Pokedex Entries

Darumaka's droppings are hot, so people used to put them in their clothes to keep themselves warm. (White)

The dex is definitely weird.

How many times do you think people accidently caught on fire because of the Hot shit?

I know a lot of people in this thread have managed to catch ‘em all over the various games, but does anyone have a white whale Pokemon they’ve wanted but never managed to obtain?

Mine’s Steelix. When people first told me about it (in the days before I had high speed Internet to verify things), I thought it was a hoax since I never played the original Johto games and very few trainers had one. I love its design, but I’ve never found anyone I can trade with to get one.

Chimecho and Feebas were my white whales at one point. I encountered multiple shinies in my copies of Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald but never either of those Pokemon.

To be honest I don't remember ever running into a shiny of any pokemon.

If you cross reference all the Pokédex entries, you’ll learn that Klefki opens the gates of PokeHell
