Episode IX is taking a beating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, where the score keeps fluctuating in the mid 50s, a rather alarming number (for Disney anyway) given that even TLJ had a pretty high score. Right now we're speculating how that's going to translate to box office numbers given the movie's poor word-of-mouth right now.

Leaks. Leaks out the ass. Someone leaked Palpatine's death, I posted Rey's death, her revival and Kylo's death as well as Kylo being flung into a pit. The post should be one or two pages ago.

I find the Abrams Star Treks to be palatable if you consider them an alternate timeline/alternate dimension of continuity, like the Marvel Ultimate universe was to the normal Marvel stuff. Which they technically were based on teh graphic novel tie-ins to the first film. They're definitely more watchable than this shit Star wars trilogy.

I look at this scene and I think why not just make Rey absorb the energy and redirect it? It’s an ability that already exists and is canon. It would make more sense than Rey being able to block force lightning with a lightsaber and push it back with two.

Obi-wan, Darth Vader, and most notably Yoda fucking did it against Dooku so why not Rey?

I’d really like to know why you’re so upset over my purchases. Like the edit says, I made these ticket purchases well before this review fiasco. I’m not a shill for a major company, I’m someone who likes to go to the theater and watch the occasional movie. If the movie is as terrible and filled with SJW or whatever as everyone proclaims, I’m going to affirm it.

Most theaters do not honor refunds on tickets, so what the fuck am I supposed to do - not see it? They’ve already got my money, so might as well have a few drinks and make the best of a “bad” situation.
