As some of us have to pay for the blue check marks on twitter's 'disability' checks I won't be able to stay up till 12:01AM EST to see how RT has scores when the flood gates of normies finally start posting their reviews.

One of you, any of you, be a true champ and watch that site like a hawk and post what the reviewer score is when it finally comes out.

Maybe I'm misremembering my Legends lore, but wasn't Anakin an immaculate conception by the force because Sheev and Plaguis wouldn't stop fucking with the force directly. I seem to recall that was the case before the dark times... Before the mouse.

What a stupid plot contrivance. If Palpatine wanted to craft the perfect apprentice, does anyone here honestly think he would have chosen some rando woman on a planet he had never been too, and not take one single solitary hand in the business of it all until Anakin shows up years later? Palpatine was a control freak, he would have raised the kid from infancy himself if he expected a big pay off at the end. Ugh. Just more logs on the bonfire alerting us to the fact these hacks don't understand the material they are using to make "stories".

IDK about that. For one thing, one could easily argue that TLJ was the trainwreck and this film is just the burning aftermath. Also, in the past couple years, we've seen the death of Star Trek, Terminator, Alien, and Predator. Perhaps most of all though, we saw the seppuku of Game of Thrones, which had the potential to be the greatest TV show ever but turned into an unwatchable dumpster fire. If anything, TROS may HOPEFULLY signal the end of these franchise onslaughts.

Pretty much, Anakin's existence was a sort of natural response by the Force to Plagueis and Sheev fucking with the natural order. But even then I still considered Plagueis to be the defacto "dad/trigger" while Sheev was just a lab assistant to me, but that's just me. Still doesn't change the fact that Rey and Kylo are pure incest now. Also for some reason Plagueis is treated as off limits by Disney, with him having no part in anything except for being Sheev's master.

Wow. Disney actually greenlit an incestuous relationship because they're that incompetent at managing the continuity between mediums (even though they had the nerve to nuke the EU). Either that, or they're trying to reach yet another "sexually alternative" demographic...
