Also George may have not had a script but he had a rough draft with several ideas which were fleshed out by Arndst and which I posted many pages ago, but it was all overwritten by JJ and Kasdan. I agree. She can technically hand wave that, but she can't hand wave not having any source material especially since these people have completely ripoffed ideas from said material that KK denies exist.

Did the plots or characterization of the Worst Trilogy reflect this at all? I know she did that Mary Poppins shit, but I considered that more of a situation of the force saving her than of her expertly using the force.Haha, it totally makes sense for Rey to defeat Kylo Ren in a Lightsabre dual because an untrained Princess Leia beat Luke too.

If she was this powerfully and expertly gifted, talented and skilled with the force, why wasn't training her son, or redeeming him by getting him to give up on his dark side shenanigans, a priority for her? It could've even served as a reason why the republic went to shit well before the beginning of TFA : she was preoccupied with force/jedi/family stuff when she needed to be 100% focused on politics, diplomacy, governance, etc. Otherwise, it seems like she neglected her family/kid, and she still failed at her true life's passion of politics n power.
Also, if she was such a force n jedi expert, you'd think she would've made more of an effort to keep someone like Rey close, instead of letting her run away to the dude who had failed so miserably in teaching her son about the force. I guess trying to think about that just raises even more contradictions and lack of logic with the 'plotline' of the Shillogy.
