TGWTG Linkara / Lewis Lovhaug - HMMMMMMM? (Dead Gay Muppet Gangbang)

So, Lewis hates the new Star Wars movie because the main chick ain't "a nobody" anymore and it sounds wierd coming from a guy who's the big fan of King Arthur and superheroes a bunch of which are wealthy or some form of a chosen one.
Yeah, but when it's superheroes it's okay.

Also, I thought he hated Star Wars and preferred Star Trek. But of course Star Wars is popular and 'woke' now so he's probably just jumping on the band wagon.

I think it's just run of the mill white knighting. Feminists think its okay for men to have super magic/royal origins because as men, they're naturally privileged. But in order for a story to truly be woke, a woman MC has to operate completely independently of any man, therefore, her awesomeness and power can only come from her alone, not from a familial connection or "the Patriarchy."

It's probably that but it's still a crazy thing to say for a comic book guy. Wonder Woman is made out of clay and is blessed by gods, Black Cat and Black Canary - both are continuing family legacy, Jean Grey is a chosen one and his favorite Batgirl was literally bread and trained since birth to be the best.

Someone told me that viga is insanely protective of Lewis being around other women, finding reasons to inject herself into situations and shooting death glares at any woman talking to Lewis.

Well, I can't blame her. His last significant other was a tranny and they still looked more feminine than Viga.

Still though, its Lewis. How many women does she have to scare off of him really? Once in a blue moon perhaps?

I don’t think that they are women who are actually interested in Lewis. I think that it is just fans who are female. Viga was an obsessed fan herself, wasn't she? She probably thinks everyone is as crazy as she is.

Well looks like Linkara's gonna have a fun time in the comments section. This is essentially an hour video split into 3 parts basically of him defending The Last Jedi while going thru plot point after plot making a case for each one. I'd talk about his usually whiny arguments here but we should probably keep that contained in the Star Wars thread.

Still, I find it funny how hard he's essentially turned his comments section into a verbal battleground for him to fight in.

Memory is fuzzy, but I thought I remembered Lewis was paying her tuition and/or rent when they were only dating. That kind of thing is usually a huge red flag for anyone that's not an exceptional individual.

"Please love me. The last woman I was with had a cock and left me. You are my last chance to not die a lonely virgin"

tfw I don't agree at all with Linkara's hot takes defending the trainwreck that is TLJ, but I kinda enjoyed listening to his cringe takes.

Also the flailing around/retcons the House of Mouse's writers did to not make Rey not a complete Sue fucked the rest of Star Wars lore-wise (and Rey is still a Sue; it just made everyone pay attention to everything else that's on fire rather than her).

Damn, Disney's writers are so incompetent that the cringy #theforceisfemale audience they built up hate the final movie and diehard Star Wars fans will defend Episode II, the worst of the prequel trilogy.

Force ain't female. Female force was killed years ago.

I’d say that this is Linkara realizing what he has to do to survive in a future where YouTube goes fully corporate, if not be seen as a favored individual.

Well if his crappy original work didn't kill any credibility he had as a critic, this definitively does it for me.

He is either lying and claiming he likes it because he wants to appeal to SJWs, which makes him a fraud, or he sincerely likes it despite it being a story that shits on the OT, and is widely panned by old fans.

I might listen to his arguments later, but I suspect he is just parroting Twitter's defense of it.

As I said, this is probably the thing he needs to do to survive in this age of YouTube as one of those creators that the website parades out to show that they actually care about their creators and haven’t gone completely corporate/ became “the new Netflix”. I mean, for a comics channel, he doesn’t cover much of the MCU or DCEU. What else can he do?
