You have to pay the full price of a game again in order to use the online features+monthly subscription+more online fees just for giggles.

The "free" version they're offering is useless and actually can't really be used at all to transfer pokemon.

They’re charging people $3 a month to save Pokémon data. Somehow I doubt Pokémon data, even 6k Pokémon, amounts to 50gb. An iCloud 50gb plan is $0.99 a month and yet Nintendo charging 3 times that.

You're leaving out that they have to buy multiple types of game passes first before they have the privilege of paying 3 dollars a month.

This isn't even figuring in the 30 dollar DLC.

Gonna risk weebing a little but I'm reminded of series called 20th Century Boys/21st Century Boys, mainly because the main villain literally started a cult based around the childhood fantasies/games he and his "friends" used to play because he couldn't accept the fact that he wasn't a member of the popular kids.

Well, it's "only" $16 a year if you take a yearly subscription instead of monthly, and it's not just storage, but who would care when there are a number of other issues with their Home service that people were already mad about? Their previous service didn't even have those problems and it's still around, and I doubt they're going to ever tie them together.

And no, it's not "Nintendo," don't be autistic. TPC is owned by three separate entities, and Game Freak makes the games. They don't make a dime from Nintendo's online service. It's also why all the games they make are consistently trash, because they don't have access to Nintendo's resources and staff. Either way, the only people who even care about the games and merchandise now are children or adults with the minds of children.

But Bob's not going to care about any of it, because I'm pretty sure the only thing he has attachment to is Mario and other things that came before all that. The only input he'd have is to be a smug asshole cheerleader on whichever side he perceived as being the winning one.
