I think the mother may have hurt her son's case more than she realizes by admitting that she is not only responsible for immigration but also denying that abuse takes place. Looking at this from Ashli's perspective, what the fuck possible benefit could it have for her to go to her husband's mother, who holds wife's immigration in her hands, and admit that this woman's son is hurting her? The only remotely sensible thing to do in this sitaution is to try to hide the abuse as much as possible in order to have stability for her toddler. Ashli coud have peaced the fuck out back to Canadaland in a second if not for wanting what is best for her daughter, and what is best for her daughter is to not leave her with her pillhead deadbeat father and his BPD side piece.

Why the fuck would Lowtax’s mom be the “bond holder” Why is there a “bond”? I don’t know if she just doesn’t know what shes talking about and meant “sponsor” but if it really is bond that means Ashlii had to go to immigration detention center and be bonded out. (Actual bond money may or may not be involved. In a situation like this a judge would usually just allow her to be released on her own recognizance. I highly doubt there is any bond and think Lowtax’s mom just decided to use the term bond, instead of sponsor, to vilify Ashlii and make her sound like a criminal.)

How shocking Ashlii wouldn’t complain to her enabling mother in law that she’s being abused or treated like shit by mommy’s precious baby boy. I’m sure telling MIL anything wouldn’t immediately result in Lowtax being told and flying into a rage to get her stfu. In the full report, she said he had "put hands on her" a few times and punched walls to intimidate her during arguments, so it sounds like it was escalating towards physical abuse.
