This has nothing to do with KV (but be prepared for them to spurge). Fan Fest Events has a history of canceling events.

Unfortunately, not all convention are trustworthy. I once heard a guest say that he got stuck with his own hotel bill when a con didn't pay. The hotel billed people using the card they had on file for incidentals.

Want to know what I noticed when manjaw noticed or appears to have noticed when a narrative isn't going the way she wants it to, you see her not REALLY addressing anything related to Vic wise, or anything involving the anime industry she drowns out with political crap(Presidency and Politics and stuff). There are always a thousand different reasons for these stories. It's usually because said guest didn't read the contract or did something they shouldn't have and got billed by the hotel. I can say from experience, hotel rooms are pre-paid by every event I've ever been a part of. This just smells of some salty guest getting mad that he shit the bedsheets and they charged him for it.



Nobody on any side of it is clean, this is the internet. Too much pearl-clutching going on imo.

I know that and I've made peace that fact, it's why I view myself as an asshole and not a good person. You can still be a good person and not be clean, something these fuckers fail to understand and it makes them into worse cunts. The world ain't 100% black or white or 50/50 gray.

I always find it shocking that whenever these "online movements", Gate events, or other assorted large gay ops occur and get picked up by the farms no one seems to understand that there is no playing at sides here. While we each individually have our opinion as a net whole we make threads on this shit for the entertainment not because we are on any side.

The best thing for VICstans to do is ignore us if they have a problem with dox and laugh in the face of anyone from KV who thinks we do what we do in support of someone in particular.

If we were still in the anime crash then maybe that statement would be truthful, but now? There are a bunch of different publishers here in the west bringing over content outside of Funimation, some being Japanese publishers themselves. If they were to crumble I highly doubt it would have the same impact as when ADV closed its doors back during the crash. It's a very surface level observation to make but I don't expect anything else from BT.

I also know nothing about the streaming scene besides crunchyroll because I largely pirate. A lot of anime, while entertaining to watch, has almost no re-watch value needed to get me to cough up money for a physical release.
