I've archived this because years down the road, I want to see a brave woman tell the truth that I know is going to die.

Update: Long video. Not sure about this guy but it it is information that could be helpful.
Coronavirus: Is the Puzzling Silence From Officials The Calm Before The Storm? 39:33 Minutes 2/17/2020

This one and the 13 sent to Omaha directly account for that jump in numbers. Now that the US government has managed to screw up in such an asinine way, god knows how many more on those planes had it or will end up getting it because of those flights.

It's Napa its where the fucking rich and happy people live... Kill them all with fire and be done with it. Yea I can be a cynic but I fucking hate arrogant prick up there when I know I have as much money than a majority of them have. I just can't stand yuppydom almost as much as I hate SF. Kill them with fire too.

We shouldn't be buying any edibles from China after the melamine adulterant scandal. Some of the local supermarkets sell garlic from China and I absolutely refuse to buy it, the US produces tons of the stuff-Gilroy CA has had a Garlic Festival for ages. How do I know how and where that garlic was grown, could be in a toxic waste dump for all I know.

If it comes from Cathay, throw it away.

I heard a lot of the garlic "from" Gilroy is actually garlic from China. Gilroy now does more garlic processing than garlic growing.

It makes me wonder if there's some legal loophole that says since it was processed here, they can slap a U.S. label on it.

So my recommendation with cats is to get them off kibble and onto an all-wet diet that contains as little in the way of plant-derived ingredients as possible, especially those that are highly refined. Doing that not only reduces the risk of their getting poisoned by contaminated Chinese ingredients, but also drastically reduces cats' overall risk of developing kidney disease and/or diabetes as they age.

The cat I had when the melamine "wheat gluten" started killing pets had weak kidneys, but fortunately I was feeding her mainly Friskies, which was one of the only cheap brands that didn't source their "wheat gluten" from China. The cat I have now can't eat Friskies for different health reasons, but I evangelize that brand to anyone who needs cheap wet cat food. It's especially good for picky eaters because it's stinky, and cats like stink.

because it would not let me post it on my previous comment of "Kill them with Fire"

In the US you can still purchase high-quality boots that are made in America. Nicks, White's, and Thorogood just to name a few. I still have a pair of Nicks I purchased over a decade ago for wildland firefighting.

There's still exceptional quality to be had. And honestly, the world of hiking boots and shoes are a far superior market now than they were even half a decade ago.
Are the Thorogoods steel-toed? I like the way those look.

My folks had a dog with a tender tummy so they boiled the shit out of chicken breasts for her, fed them to the cat too. afaik both liked them just fine.

I know it's off-topic, but before anyone has an internal awakening to change your pet's diet, cats and dogs need more than white meat to keep their organs functioning. They need tendon, cartilage, the "yucky" parts that us humans cut out and don't eat. The pet food world has improved their ingredients because people care about their pets more now. Don't buy the cheapest of the cheap of pet foods and you won't run into Chinese-processed ingredients. Not buying your pet's foods from the supermarket, dollar store, is a great start. Poor quality kibble is especially a guarantee to inflict health issues on cats later on down the road. Just like all things, research goes a long way.

White's are amazing, if expensive boots. To loop back to an earlier post, Danner boots still being made in America is basically down to the Berry Amendment.

Taiwan has come out as one of the bigger winners in all of this.

Bold is mine:

Apple moving production from China to Taiwan due to Wuhan coronavirus
Apple shifting manufacture of AirPods, iPad, Apple Watch from China to Taiwan due to ongoing outbreak

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — As the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread in China, Apple is moving the manufacture of some of its top devices to Taiwan.

Apple has begun to move the production of a number of its top gadgets set to launch in the first half of 2020, according to a report by am730, which cited DigiTimes. The products listed in the report to be shifted to Taiwan include AirPods Pro Lite, iPads, and Apple Watches.

Apple is trying to diversify its supply chain geographically due to the spread of the virus, which has seriously affected the production of Apple products in the communist country. Apple intends to gradually increase the proportion of production in Taiwan while still trying to maintain its cooperation with suppliers on the other side of the strait.

It is estimated that at least one-third of China's production lines will lay idle in the first quarter of this year, and it would be almost impossible to return to the normal level of production before the end of February. It is also doubtful whether normal production could be resumed within the first ten days of March.

However, the report did not mention additional details about Airpods Pro Lite. Apple launched the Airpods Pro, which have an active noise cancelation function, in October last year.

In March of 2019, Apple introduced a slightly improved second generation of AirPods. It is speculated that Apple will be releasing its third-generation AirPods early this year.
Why to taiwan when it is still so close? Seems like a silly decision to me.

Food is more closely regulated than other products, I'm not sure how garlic heads can be "processed" (those peeled cloves sold in jars might be different). There were allegations Christopher Ranch in Gilroy was selling Chinese garlic as American in a Netflix documentary, I also heard they filed a lawsuit against Netflix.

I was going to post something about that, cats need taurine and other things that come from bones and offal, too much protein can he hard on certain cats. Anyone making their own cat food has to be careful and really research how to do it. You can occasionally give them cooked and mashed gizzards and livers, they really like it.

Well now we finally know what they're spraying all round town.

The product is called an "Environmental Enzyme". It consists of kitchen waste to which is added brown sugar and water and then fermented. Then the product is diluted and sprayed like a mist with these bad boys.

Update on Travis AFB

The "quarantined" area has been expanded, despite releasing over 100 people who were recently confined with other (possibly) infected individuals. The shitty elbow-high fences are now surrounding more lodging buildings and people (including kids) are just wandering around outside unmasked and unaccompanied in the fenced areas while unmasked people seem to be bringing supplies into the hotel. The supplies are coming off of obnoxiously green semi trucks marked "DISASTER RECOVERY TEAM 1-800-SERVPRO" right next to a small village of outhouses. I saw/noticed zero security. As of sundown, only the Fox News van remained camped outside of the main gate.

I couldn't see/read any signs saying not to, so I took photos and videos, but I still need to find out if I could get myself or anyone else into trouble for posting them.

Haven't see it posted here yet (or missed it, and if so apologize) but China is further waving Tariffs on 696 U.S products including food (pork, Soybeans, ect), LNG, metals, agricultural, and medical equipment.

Trump has also wen't ahead and imposed new rules on Chinese state owned media, classifying them as agents of a foreign power and requiring them to register their employees and U.S properties with the U.S State Department due to propaganda concerns. Though from what Iv read this has been considered for awhile. They have targeted 5 media entities to comply with these requirements.

Holy Jesus Christ! What quack decided that shit would be of ANY value?

One day, this will end in China. A vaccine will be developed, the dead buried/burned. But there will be other damage that may never be repaired.

In most countries, including the USA, there's a sort of social contract between the people and government, at all levels. The people will, in general, obey the law and pay their taxes. In return, the government provides certain services and benefits.

In China, the social compact has been if the people obey the CCP and maintain "social harmony", the government will take care of them in case of a catastrophe. That social compact has been broken and may never be fully repaired.

The people have seen the CCP's utter inability to provide medical care to those who need it. The people have seen Chinese people placed into metal boxes on the back of trucks. The people have seen farmers throwing badly needed food on the ground because they were not allowed to bring the food to the cities. And apparently the government could not or would not muster the transport needed to pick up the food from the farmers and get it to the hungry in the cities. They have seen doctors guilty of nothing more than expressing their concern about the WuFlu arrested and forced to sign documents saying they were in the wrong. One of these doctors has died already.

They have seen a woman crying for help from her apartment balcony, to no avail.

They have seen a woman passionately decrying the government's ineptitude, which has led to sickness and death in her family.

They have seen dead bodies, perhaps their neighbors, friends, and family members, picked up off the street where they died.

They have seen "instant hospitals" that are nothing of the sort.

And they have learned of a respected professor who publicly criticized Emperor Xi, only to be "disappeared".

The people will never trust the CCP again. They may act compliant on the outside, but on the inside the CCP has lost the people. And there are a few million in Hong Kong who have seen all of this and now want nothing whatsoever to do with the CCP. And the CCP doesn't know what to do. They didn't know what to do about Hong Kong before the virus hit, and now they really don't know what to do. The only tool the CCP seems to be able to use is force. They hammer down every nail sticking up. But what happens when there are so many nails the hammer can no longer pound them all down?

Believe China will be going through interesting times for a very long time to come.
