Sonic is trending, so of course he is going to ride it.
Thing about Robert is that, if it ain't capeshit, or a trending topic, his videos, more so his big picture, tends to lose more than half of his views.
But to be fair to Robert, the escapist aint doing so good. Even Yahtzee's bread and butter can barely break over 300K, and he used to get easly millions of views. And I doubt they are getting more engagement on their own website as well, because now they are dropping both their website player and youtube videos at the same time. (except for yahtzee it seems)
They used to wait a week before uploading to youtube to get the most of their big ad bucks on their player, but now they just want any views.
Again, if I were Robert, I would be scrambling for other revenues, because I doubt the escapist as it is will last long. Soon it will be just the Yahtzee site... I mean, it already is, but in the literal sense now.

Just remember to save all his anti-sonic shit once the Illumination Mario movie comes out and he declares that we're in the Midst of a Mario Renaissance between the lackluster themepark and the movie. He's gonna mostly definitely go ITS JUST LIKE MARIO WUZ IN DA EIGHTIES!!!111
The Theme park is not shaping out well, it's the physical manifestation of New Super Mario bros. It's entirely devoid of soul and maybe the only old school Nintendo shit you'll see is some t-shirts being sold. But it's not going to be the living breathing mushroom kingdom of his dreams. It's not being modeled after classic nintendo, all the designs from everything are from the more modern games and Odyssey's influence also seems absent. It's not a full day park, harry Potter still has more shit in it and even that's not a full day park either even after an expansion and redesign.
And the Illumination movie sounds like it's going to be mostly involving dance numbers to pop songs. Like it's minion's bullshit but without the minions, it seems like it's just going to be Mario brothers move from gag skit to gag skit and then eventually clonk Bowser before the movie ends with another dance number. No real structure to plot or character arcs which the sonic movie at least has. It seems to mostly involve well known characters just doing wacky or out of character things.
Oh and Waluigi is not in any of these things either.

I expect, if jetpacks becomes affordable and widespread, it will have a social effect similar to cell phones today. Employers will expect every single employee to carry one, and because traveling is so convenient, they will expect employees to be perpetually on call. You are enjoying your deserved vacation in Venice? No, fly back to Los Angeles at once and I expect you in three hours! The disadvantaged people who can't even afford the most basic model will simply not get any job.

He’s such a morbidly obese bitter baby about that movie. Jesus Christ, studios don’t have to clear movies by you Robert especially since every single idea you have is like drinking lukewarm diarrhea.
“Ugh a Live action sonic movie was released this week....for some reason!!” and then he goes into “the internet got mad” and the studio was forced to make those poor animators work overtime while whipping them and not feeding them. Then he has the nerve to say the movie looks the same because he refuses to admit the new sonic looks way better than the hot shit that was v1.

The sonic redesign may have been pressed by Sega, which is not out of character for them.
Sega routinely wants customer feedback and if something gets an overall negative they try and fix it if it's possible.
For example they called it quits with AT-Games after fans reacted very negatively to the Sega Mini announcement and went back to the drawing board with it and got stuff like like Castlevania Bloodlines to go with their new version of the micro console. AT-Games released mini genesis consoles in the past but they were always such crap.
So fans going Sonic Looks like shit and Sega getting Paramount to delay until it's fixed is really not unheard of by them.

Lorax relied on pop culture references and shitty pop dance numbers, all while missing the point of Seuss’s writing and themes.
Mario, since it’s not deep at all compared to the original Lorax, won’t be that difficult to not fuck up.
Coupled with the fact Birds of Prey got wrecked by this movie.

It stills surprise me to see people mad at the Sonic redesign, the original one was shit and it hurt the first impressions on the movie to many people, yet is bad to change it because reasons. These people genuinely hate normal audiences and would do anything to see them unhappy.

Well the initial design was being developed at Sony who’s being run by Tom Rothman. Rothman was infamously the CEO of Fox’s film group and he blocked Deadpool at every turn before his partner Jim Gianopulos greenlighted it. Ironically, Sonic was produced by Deadpool’s own Tim Pool and it was put up for turnaround by Sony and Rothman and was picked up Paramount, who’s now run by Gianopulos. So I would assume Paramount continued the project until they realized after the trailer that they needed to redesign the character. Luckily, because they’re weren’t too far into post production, they were able to redesign in the scenes they’ve done so far and adapt it into the scenes still needed to complete. And since this is the best opening for Paramount in awhile, I could imagine bowing to the fans was the smart business move in the end.

I looked and it turns out he's mentioned Ultraman a time or two (a). The earliest being April 6, 2013(a) and the latest being December 21, 2019 (a). He has talked about Power Rangers(a) a whoooooooooooole lot more which led me to this find.
