the idea is that the hormones create a softer, gentler penis, a girl penis, which (even if it still acts for all intents and purposes like a regular male penis) is definitely not a male penis, no no, transphobe!

Thanks Japan for already desensitizing me to the word girl penis.

This "softer, gentler penis" is legit straight up hentai fanfiction.

So place your bets on what happens in tomorrow's exciting installment of cringe and horror. I really do want an explanation as to why Jazz has ballooned to the degree he has of late. After all that work he put in to lose weight for his surgery, he's even more grossly obese than he was before and it seems to be getting worse. Is it the binging, the hormones, the lack of testicles, or all three combined? Either way, Jazz's body is becoming more and more bloblike and if he DOES go to college, that Freshman 15 has every bit of potential to turn into the Freshman 500.

Knowing that Jazz has a desire to stuff his face, Jeanette and Greg should have been more proactive in helping him make healthy eating habits. Or at the very least put in enough exercise to balance out all the calories. With Jazz's wound now making the latter impossible, the responsibility fell on them to make sure he was balancing out his diet. There's no reason someone should be chowing down on two footlongs and a whole jar of nutella all in one sitting.

Yesterday I stumbled on a porn video where it seemed odd. After watching for a while to understand what's happening I understood: Basically one man (or troon) had a baby penis, probably from blockers and hormones, not erect and the other man whose penis was erect was f*cking the baby penis like it was a vagina. He was literally pushing the baby penis inside the scrotum of the troon.

This must have been the most wtf porn I have ever seen. I don't understand how the troon was feeling anything (if he was feeling anything).

In all fairness, at that point I was like "If Jazz could hold on to that baby penis, this is probably what he would be doing". Much better than having a stickhole for a vagina.

I cannot believe I'm about to ask, but do you have a link? I just can't imagine what this would look like. (Even though Ana Valens introduced me to the concept of shoving your nads into your pelvis for a fauxgina)

Unfortunately no. It was a live thing and it's not saved like on YouTube after the broadcast is over. I should've taken screenshots. Next time if I see it I'll take screenshots 😱

Preview of tomorrow's episode featuring Jazz acting like a neurotic nut over literally nothing. Nice healthy kid you got there, Jeanette. Such sturdy coping strategies.

This is hilarious, but also fuck you for putting that imagery in my head.

As horrifying as that is, it's infinitely more palatable than imagining intercourse with whatever the hell is going on between Jazz's legs.

More relevant to the thread in general - How long do we think it is until Jazz joins the 41%? I'd say within the next 5 years seems to be a safe bet. Obviously once the cameras and spotlight go away things are going to take a very dark turn for this poor soul. What an absolutely fucked-up existence this kid has been forced to endure. Hopefully he can finally find peace in eternal rest.

Genuine question for the audience, and I suppose it's more focused on the lady kiwis: How would you negotiate with Jazz in a social setting?

The various transgirls on the show are each at various stages of 'passing', but mentally and in terms of body language, would you perceive Jazz as "male in disguise" or "Female with terms and conditions"?
I get this is sort of a TERF talking point, and on that end I'm conflicted, because while the reasons Jazz isn't authentically feminine have been thoroughly documented, nothing masculine really jumps out at me either.

I am a classic tomboy so idk if that skews my opinion but with that said, I'd treat Jazz the way I would a tweenaged child. I personally view Jazz as a prepubescent male and I would conduct myself as such. Jazz lacks a key expression of how to interact as a woman. He sits like a male, has a superficial understanding of womanhood, and has a lack of interest in adult or morally gray concepts. He tantrums like a child and will bully women the way he did to Based Grandma or Amir's mom. The way he copes with stressful situations is like that of a child and his constant over-reliance on his family shows the lack of independence or confidence required to be perceived as an adult.

I would have tried to accommodate him had he transitioned as an adult and genuinely tried acting like a female adult. But he's a hormone-stunted kid. And in my eyes, he will always be a very feminine male child.

Jazz is a man who's not just "in disguise", but has actual, deep-rooted mental issues. That's the biggest part of his behavior, and it's more or less what people will get the sense of first even before they notice if he "passes" or not. Looking at his body language, it's painfully (heh) obvious that he never really feels 100% comfortable in his own skin, and it's at least a bit uncanny.

So, in a social setting, I'd place him squarely under the "weirdo" category: be polite but not overly friendly, let them do most of the talking, stay as vague as possible regarding personal details, and so on and so forth. (I commute by bus, so I've had my share of dealing with interesting characters.)

He seems like such a child. I can't imagine we'd have anything in common in terms of hobbies or interests, so I'd mostly steer it to "Where do you see yourself going with that?" questions.

Young people are in such flux as far as who they are, and it's always a flint shaped by the pressure of other people.

He's still around the people and forces who shaped him as a child and early teenager, and it remains to be seen whether the child he is can be the parent of the adult he will become.

As far as whether I'd view him as a man, there's a certain interaction between grown adults of any species or sex. By which I mean that every dog recognizes a puppy, and treats a puppy of any sex differently than they would treat an adult. In this metaphor, he seems like a puppy.

There's no "This is a man! Danger!" or "This is a man! Yum!" but neither is there "This is a grown woman and we're both in this together." Not even a "This is a fag and I should ask him about the Project Runway knockoff."

Like I said, nothing in common.

Interesting question. My take with all trans people is that I shouldn't be treating men and women differently, so at the end of the day, what gender they ID as is irrelivant to our interactions. But Jazz is very young, and probably passes (although his shoulders are getting big), so I think I'd probably just treat him like a socially unaware kid and not spend too much time talking to him. He mostly seems to talk about his body and trans stuff anyway and, in a setting where I couldn't be openly critical of all that, I don't think I'd have much to say on the topic.

I do wonder if the whole "feminine penis" thing is pushed in part by guys who desperately don't want to admit they're nomming on male genitalia. Probably not very PC of me but I think even if a trans chick has gotten SRS it's still kinda gay to fuck her.
Fake tits and a bacterial soup riddled neo vag do not a woman make. They aren't one thing or the other, because they're in a no-man's (woman's) land of gender limbo.

They're still men, they've just had some really extreme body mods to make then look more like women. Like those guys who get their eyeballs tattooed and their tongue split and get horn implants haven't turned into demons or aliens, they're men who for whatever reason wanted to change their bodies to look that way.
I wonder if the world was more accepting of gay dudes, would there be less of this insistence that trans women are women (because gay men wouldn't have to kid themselves that they're straight)? Or would there be less troonery in general (because gay kids wouldn't be pressured to troon out in the first place)?

I wish that I could get him alone for just five minutes to tell him the truth - that he isn't a woman, and all this stress, depression, anxiety, anger, doubt is all coming from him having that knowledge deep down in his gut. I do think trans people know they're not the opposite gender no matter how hard they try - that's why the public validation of it is so important to them. Why do they care so damn much if I believe they pass or not?

When we start looking at this as a mental illness again, I think learning how to cope with the body they have is the best option for them. Not constantly denying the truth. If the truth wasn't so important to them, people like Jazz wouldn't be so sensitive if someone uses the wrong pro noun. But apparently the truth IS important, and Jazz is surrounded by people who deny the truth every single day and have been his entire life.
The truth will honestly set these people free. It's the one act of kindness Jazz needs.

But I'm just a sexist, racist, homophobe so what do I know...

Having your mental health depend on other people's perception of you is a recipe for disaster anyway. Not everyone is going to like you or perceive you the way you want them to, you have to learn to deal with it and not let it bother you. Especially if you're in the public eye and a lot of people have an opinion on you. In Jazz's case, I wonder if part of that comes from having a narcissistic mum who demands everyone please and validate her. Partly he tries desperately to cater to her (eg choosing Harvard over Pomona), partly he's picked up that same need for external validation. It's a hell of a lot of power to give other people and it's not a nice position to be in, to have your whole self-worth be based on what some random stranger thinks of you. I don't mean Jazz or anyone should completely disregard other people and be an inconsiderate prick, but there's a healthy balance to be had, you can be accommodating of other people without obsessing over what they think of you.
