What the fuck? I heard from various sources that it was either bleach or peroxide, but I was never able to get an accurate fix on what, exactly, they’re spraying from those mosquito foggers and tank trucks. Does anyone have any conclusive evidence of the agent that they’re using?

I’ve been disinfecting my gear with Diversey Oxivir and Virex. Oxivir is a 4% peroxide concentrate that makes a shit-ton of solution. 8 oz to a gallon. 2 oz for a whole quart spray bottle. Good stuff. Will definitely kill Corona-chan and cuntblock her.

China’s numbers are bullshit. Epidemiological studies indicated that the number of infected were over 1 million by the 12th of last month, and China was only detecting 5% of all infections. That means that by the 12th of February, as many as 100,000 to 200,000 people had swarmed Wuhan’s hospitals complaining of serious symptoms.

Barron’s published an article indicating the r-squared of China’s data was 0.99. Very low variation in the data. That means a spreadsheet formula generated it. They undercounted the number of infected and dead severely. My own estimates were somewhere in the ballpark of 1 to 2 million infected, and 50k to 300k dead.

Wuhan is a fucking war zone.

Maybe late about this info but the who and cdc re evaluated the death rate of the virus globally and stated it's closer to 3.4 / 4 % , more than double what they "estimated" (or lied about, they knew how bad it was in China previous to this)...
This is really bad, seeing the numbers coming from Iran and Italy, looks like they are still lying about the death rate if you take in account the lag of 7 to 14 days.

Every day passing seems to get the reality of this virus admitted to being closer and closer to what we witnessed it in earlier's past 2 months of China's reports / videos that are now supressed and censored.

Even if we go by the IFRs that vary from about 0.23% to 1%, that’s still as many as 10k people who died in Wuhan, assuming at least 1 million infected. However, I’ve seen some really suspicious shit.

Look dude, I appreciate your paranoia and desire to live in the dystopian wasteland after the fall of civilization. But this isn’t Captain Tripp’s. It’s not Ebola. It’s a nasty SARS variant that is taking a heavy toll on the elderly and infirm worldwide. Unless you are an 86 year old 9 pack a day smoker locked in a health care facility you probably don’t have a huge amount to worry about. Take reasonable precautions. Have some extra supplies on hand and a 90 day supply of any needed prescriptions in case the supply channels remain disrupted.

Look at the numbers. Drill down into the numbers and see if they are making sense? Also remember China suffers horribly from two competing forces of bullshit. One is an absolute fear of being the deliverer of bad news, thus the one responsible for it. The other is an escalating desire to be seen as the apparatchik working hardest and doing the most to visibly solve the problem. Do those Chinese sprayer trucks make any sense to anyone with regard to fighting a disease? Of course not. They are however a very visible effort by local party officials to be seen to be doing something to “liquidate the disease” as Premier Xi commanded. It’s pure theater. It’s lies about the disease itself, and lies about what they are doing about it. Merging to create a hell on earth.

It’s not a nothing burger. Nor is it quite what the media hysteria would have you panic over. There are some worrying things out there. Like the fear there may be two or more strains in play. One, relatively mild, moving eastward across Southeast Asia and the US west coast. And one that went westward and is currently racking up a body count in Iran. It’s hard to know for sure because third world theocratic hell holes tend to be worse sources of data than China.
