I just read what he did to that poor puppy and I place him based on that in the bottom 1% of generic subhuman filth alone. I'm glad I didn't find this thread until he'd been sentenced and know he's away from kids and animals for a very long time and hopefully dies in prison. after being treated like the scum he truly is. Not a single redeeming feature to this guy. Generally not a wisher of torture of people, but in his case, it would seem wrong for him to have a quick, clean death.

How's a person even GET like that? Not that it changes my view on his type and how they should be dealt with (exterminate them), just I wonder if people like this are neurologically/empathically defective/twisted from infancy or via genetics and it just takes an event or two that are less than optimal, being brought up by similarly moral defectives or exposure to the wrong sexual content early enough to basic set them down the path that ends with cutting puppies open to rape them to death.

I don't remember where I read it, but some guy that worked on a prison said that even if they put a chomo in protective custody, some guards will turn a blind eye if something goes south and the other inmates get their hands on said chomo. He even said a guard let ''slip'' that a new guy was a kid diddler to the gen pop the moment the guy stepped inside the unit. I dunno if this is true, but I can see it happening just fine with abusers and pedos.

Honestly, I don't give a single flying shit about Levi and his spastic ass, and I sincerely hope that, at least, the inmates get informed about what crimes they charged this sad sack of shit for. Even if Nelizar get into protective custody, the fact he would spend all the time in fear, terrified of being raped and killed if word get around is hellish enough.

I don't like to make assumptions about an inmate's fate inside prison because reality isn't always black and white and some things can change in the last hour or not happen as it should. But I hope he experience only bad things during his stay and if he makes out of it alive, I want his life to be as miserable as possible tll he dies.

Fish is right. If you look at the case, they got a duration departure *upwards* - meaning they went outside the guidelines in the 'longer' direction. Also, there's a marker in there that the sentences are consecutive - which keeps stacking as you go along. The numbers aren't there but that might just be a bug.

All indications so far are that he's in there, for a good long time, and has to register when he gets out. If his inmate pals let him get out. We can confirm the tentative date of release when he hits the Department of Corrections system - likely in a few days. Then we'll likely also know which institution we can drone-drop leaflets into.

In a more serious way, this Jody Newby that seems to have led the prosecution seems to legit deserve our thanks.

Well yeah, it's never ONE factor that can explain away terrible crimes. It's a mess of poor environment, probably inherent propensity to obsessive deviancy/low empathy and general shite, moronic parenting that influences a kid down the wrong path, whether by simple neglect or by example. Add in a deviant online peer group to feed him awful crap that he has no real ability to filter and it's a nasty mix. You don't generally find a normal kid from a functional home falling into this shit. All the cases I've ever read of so-called' 'normal' teens doing something horrific all turned out to be quite in character when you dug a little deeper. Home life is nearly always the key inany young offender.

I watched a horrific dramatised docu thing about the Snowtown murder ring the other night and though the same about the ringleader. Something wrong with him from the very get-go probably, shit environment, shit household, and early sexual abuse by another male and then he found he could quite literally get away with murder and slowly escalated into thee worst inhuman shit I've ever heard of outside of death camps. One of these factors ALONE probably wouldn't have wrought what actually happened there. All the factor converge and you have pure hell in human form.

More prison trivia I've picked up here and there: Prisons are wonderful places where the high population density and aggressive antibiotic response to any infection gives rise to the very finest in superbugs. Also, a favorite improvised weapon in some prisons is the shit-sticker -- a length of toilet paper wetted down, tightly folded over itself a few times, and allowed to dry, giving it a tip that's just hard and sharp enough to break skin. Minimal stopping power, but the shit-sticker gets its name from the fact that you're supposed to dab it with feces immediately before use. Isn't the correctional system a lovely place to be?

Worst case scenario is he's only looking at a decade or two in prison then paroled. While this obviously isn't ideal, it's also very unlikely given the circumstances of what he's done. Plus any time spent in jail is time that he has a giant target on back for being a chomo. I doubt he'll last long before being moved into Protective Custody.
