So now there is a new popular HashTag going around called "#HighRiskCovid19" Where a bunch of Fat Women are trying to hijack the hashtag from people who were born with immunocompromised diseases and using the hashtag for their excuse of being fat and therefore at higher risk. I got a HashTag for them its called #GettingInShape4Covid

Yes, he works at Sandia National Laboratory (they mostly do nuclear stuff, but they deal with other security issues) and we were talking about how dangerous and disruptive this disease is. That's what prompted the email. He's really concerned about the health of our elderly relatives, in particular, he's worried that they'll get infected, run out of meds, or that they won't be taken care of. He's not sure how we'll be able to take care of our elderly inlaws if we're all sick and they have to avoid us.
Today was very somber for us, and he thinks that we've already crossed the rubicon. He believes that we're just a week or two away from what's going on in Italy (hopefully again he's wrong). He thinks it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better and that there are way more cases than officially reported. He's just as human as everyone else so could very well be wrong, but they do have folks that work on various threats that aren't nuclear including disease. He obviously can't talk about a lot of their work, but he's under a lot of stress right now and is concerned for our family's wellbeing. He thinks 2020 is going to be very rough for everyone.

It looks like Georgia has called up the National Guard to aid in healthcare response. Some of my wife's co-workers are also getting nervous. They are State DoH who suddenly may be called on to help with Clinical functions in a Crisis.
