When he breaks the tips goal, he becomes more arrogant and carefree when disregarding his audience, talking down to them without fear of scaring off the money
When he doesn't break the tips goal, he becomes more arrogant and petulant when regarding his audience, talking down to them and tugging on their heartstrings by playing the victim

Phil is a tiny, scared, stressed out little man.

The only control he has in his life are his stream and grocery shopping.

He's probably realized bankruptcy wont be auto-stamped and that the foreclosure is liking going to fuck him.

Regardless of what happens this all represents CHANGE, the scariest possible thing in his life.

So he has to act like a dick to his chat because its a defenseless target and allows him to feel in control/tough.

Classic small man/bully shit.

Well honestly kind of. Recently he's been doing this fake embarrassment thing whenever there's a scantily clad woman on screen (like the Donkey Kong ring girl at the end credits) or when a female character wishes to romance whomever he is playing as. But you know how he is, if chat tells him he is being ridiculous about something, he will keep doing it or even play it up even more just to spite the few remaining fans he's got.

But essentially, yes.

I was thinking about this today, watching his nioh begthrough, the amount of times he runs into a wall and starts screaming "I can't move", dude there's a wall there, or he's stuck on a barrel or some object, but because it's off camera-it doesn't exist in his eyes for some reason

any normal person can understand they got stuck, DSP calls for the entire dev team to resign and begin issuing apologies

So what exactly happened with DSP and Swaggins? I hear Swaggins left, but I just watched the RE2 TIHYDP and he basically walked Phil through the whole game via tips.

I'll just repost this which summarizes the final meltdown which caused Swagginz to go rogue;

Essentially Swagginz got pissed (justified 100%) after the RE2 flame after Phil mistunderstood what he said and started contributing less etc., then during Philip's Sekiro play-through (which was Swagginz's like favorite game ever apparently) Swagginz was complaining and whining non-stop in chat about how Phil was slating and shitting on the game. This in turn made Phil angry af because he hates any kind of opinion that doesn't align with his own, especially from his pig-drones. This culminated in some really difficult boss on Sekiro many hours into the game, where Phil told Swagginz he's a retarded fanboy and the day after Swagginz stopped coming around and unbanned a bunch of trolls, after which Phil kicked him and passively aggressively whined.

So not really a huge war or anything, just the passive aggressive whining from these terminally online twitchtards.

He doesn't want to play them as everyone has pointed out. He just wants to beg for money. He pays more attention to the pigs than the game so only thing that can happen is btfo.

Is his job covering new games? Then why does he play Minecraft and boomer fighter 2? You’re jahb is being a streamer, nowhere are you required to play every new release that comes out. This is why he seems so fucking fake and un-genuine, he just buys games to buy them hoping they’ll attract new viewers on the merit of being new releases.

Plenty of people do this for a job and don’t feel compelled to buy damn near every game that releases, people have these things called interests and preferences.
He’s more than happy To skip a game if he actively hates it or thinks he’ll hate it, he’d probably enjoy streaming a lot more if he also skipped games he couldn’t care less about and didn’t drag his knuckles through them

I'm guessing he thinks he can somehow miraculously prove he has 5k in expenses all of a sudden and they aren't going to look at previous tax filings.
