Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

It seems to me that the govt possibly either released the weakest version of this into different areas around the time we started learning about this virus(to possibly help with immunization), or many people got a weird sickness a couple months back due to travel being a thing still, or it was just a weird respiratory/head sickness.

I’ll take your word for it. I think I only ever went to Jacobi once in my years on the job. So never saw it’s morgue. Although an important point tobear in mind. Jacobi is A. The closest hospital to the New Rochelle cluster ofKung Flu in the Ultra Orthodox Jewish enclave and B. The big (((Jewish))) Hospital in the area, so the only one they would go to. So it’s the ground zero hospital for the center of New York infections. It’s morgue being packed is probably not indicative of the other hospitals in the system. At least not yet. Jacobi is dealing with the US equivalent to the South Korean Shinji Cult.

I would normally say California just because you always expect the worst out of it but New York is really looking like a shit show. Governor and the Mayor of the largest city at each others throats, New York city deaths accelerating, lock down coming, NYC has over 5000 cases just its own, the PPE stockpile effectively gone.

3 weeks ago NYC had a stockpile of 1.5 million masks. DeBlasio handed them all out to homeless hobos instead of providing them to his primary caregivers and first responders. Then castigated Trump while demanding more. I can’t imagine how things could possiblygo badly under his enlightened leadership. I mean he has extensively studied the miracle that is the Cuban health care system.

No, only confirmed dogs dying were flung from apartment buildings in China, by people who might have been infected.

Alright last post for today (or actually first... fuck it's late) this is too good to pass.

The prisoners from a prison from andalucia recorded the video I'll put below. Long atory short. They claim there's been an outbreak on Alaurin de la Torre (the prison of malaga. Told you malaga had an outbreak despite official numbers. Also told you we work exclusively through leaks in this fucking country. But dunno if it actually reached the prison, it could've but it's more likely they're bullshitting for pity points. It was caused by turists those don't tend to interact with the prison population), outside of that they bitch about lack of masks (yeah get on the line buddy) and about lack of visits, and claim that if visits or masks don't come they'll riot. The gov has already sent reinforcements from Policia Nacional there. This is important 'cause those guys since rajoy use the trident formation, meaning 1 in 3 GOT AN SMG. So... yeah. Good luck with that riot buddies. I doubt they'd actually use them though, but you nwver know.

Now, you might ask why they'd ask for masks or more visits. Those obviously have different effects on the spread. Well let me be dr obvious here. The asking for masks is just to look reasonable and seem to the public as if they're open for negotiation. They know we got a shortage. Wanna know why they're really rioting? It's cause out prisons are really bad at stopping the black market so no visitors = no drugs. It's that simple. What they want is their moroccan white magic powder. IMHO they're biting way more than they can chew. Spain doesn't have a history of fucking around with riots, we still have a government that in that respect can get quite authoritarian compared with the rest of europe, and with anti-moroccan sentiment rising and therefore anti-drug sentiment. I know more than one that's "jokingly" said they hope it ends in gunfire.

Also, we got a church group making stupid ass cloth masks for the prisoners. So maybe if the keklord smiles upon us we get the hilarious effect of our prisons being flooded with fake masks knit by church ladies, and still having no drugs. I want that timeline to be this. Fingers crossed!

Allegedly. Is there reason to believe the numbers are botched now, with the system not yet being overwhelmed?
Handling any infectious disease follows certain protocols. Germans are known to be very anal about those things.
Cases are reported to the health departments. If there were a significant difference between the number of infected against those patients, who are recovered or deceased, it would have to be investigated. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) is mainly in charge of analysing and suggesting steps to handle the outbreak. They have a reputation of meticulosity to loose. I can't imagine them not asking for the outcome of any of the cases. If the outcome has been death, the patients reported earlier as "infected" will have to turn up in the statistic. Underlying conditions or not.
If numberes were botched because of underlying conditions it would mean, doctors wouldn't report cases tested positive to authorities or would not test for COVID at all. And they would have learned to do so. I don't believe that.
