I posted this earlier but the thread has gotten so huge you probably missed it.
Googles top paying customers for ad revenue are booking and tourism. But their is no tourism anymore obviously.
Since ad revenue is Google's top source of income they will be bleeding money for months.

They were globohomo anyways so i doesn't surprise me or bother me that they are gonna bleed money from this.
and neither of you archived.
tsk tsk

remember when the future was supposed to be like flying cars and beautiful city-wide electrified botanical gardens and space exploration?

So much was promised. We'll never get to the new frontier at this rate.

Well I can tell you that Youtube is not as profitable as Google wants it to be. They will use this opportunity to degrade all of their videos unless you pay for a subscription.

I'm just looking on what the cable industry that is throttling their systems in the lies they have been saying. Classic example is Comcast.
They keep jacking up the price and yet doubling my bandwidth, which I don't need. And yet I am unable to go down in bandwidth due to where I live.

It's funny you know. I guess this is a teaching moment. Dictatorships are a truly awful thing. Aren't they?

I doubt my teacher knew the truth of guernica. History teachers over here tend to be on the... friendly-with-the-regime side, they tend to be radicals. But, precisely because of that I'm fairly sure the one that taught me would've been more than happy to claim Guernica simply had no civilians and was a republican hive of scum and villany. And yet, they were quite hurt to talk about the awful misdeed of the national side... point is. They couldn't know the truth.

And as for me. If anything the truth fits my agenda much better than the lie I served you, just look at my past posts and you'll see.

And yet. I'm staring right now at pages upon pages of evidence that make it quite clear that I lied.

Force the teachers to tell pupils that the sky is red for long enough, and the future generations won't even bother looking up anymore, I guess.

And that's way more horrifying than any of the facts of the war. This. This is why shit like the CCP propaganda, like the Dem's bullshit, the creatards, the religious schools, ALL that shit can't be tolerated. I... I don't even know what to say. Realizing that the people that taught you how to be a person were lying to your face is quite a thing. I know how that goes, my religion teacher didn't bother telling us noah's ark was a metaphor discovering that was the trigger for my revelious fase which as I mentioned before plunged me into communism... but it's a feeling I thought I wouldn't feel again. I also hate realizing that info I gave which might be used by others to learn is definitely false, it's two sides of the same coin after all. I hatw these feelings and I didn't expect to get double teamed by them like this.

Donald Trumps response to Cuomos pleas for venilators is answered with "you should of bought them years ago". How will this help dying Americans? Donald sucks as a leader lol

How will sending a large number of ventilators to one city help other cities across the nation deal with their problems?

Communists and socialists on Twitter feel very vindicated at the idea that their terrible economic system only sounds like a good idea in the context of a deadly virus going around and killing thousands of people.

"I wonder how libertarians are dealing with the fact that the current crisis is annihilating their entire ideology" -Hilary Agro (from the attachment)

As I said before, I'm a retarded Libertarian but I am willing to set aside some of that shit for a once-in-a-lifetime (it had fucking better be) global catastrophe. Lincoln suspended the writ of habeas corpus so that there would still be a Constitution to defend after all was said and done. I don't like that, but I understand why he did that. Some elasticity is important if you want to be mildly functional in society; it's called not throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Cuomo said each cities outbreak is on a different timeline than NYC and will peak at different weeks. He said he'd send the ventilators to whatever state needed them the most next.

Regardless, FEMA has 20k ventilators sitting around, not operating or being shipped anywhere. They only sent NYC 400.

Speaking of archiving, it occurred to me that it should be possible to make a bookmarklet to check for archives of the current page and if they don't exist, make one.

It turns out Wikipedia actually has bookmarklets for The Wayback Machine aka Archive.org

https://web.archive.org/web/2020032...:Using_the_Wayback_Machine#To_see_a_dead_page

Code:
javascript:location.href='https://web.archive.org/web/*/'+document.location.href.replace(/\/$/, '');

Make a new bookmark, call it Wayback, paste the code as a link. That archive link I posted above was made with the bookmarklet, so it works.

Archive.today (aka archive.li, archive.vn etc) also recommends code for a bookmarklet

Code:
javascript:void(open('http://archive.today/?run=1&url='+encodeURIComponent(document.location)))

It seems like that saves the page and doesn't first check if it's already been done.

Participated in a webinar early this morning, then took the walk. Thought I'd check on some stores.

First hit the supermarket. Plenty of produce. Shortage of some dairy products, but adequate supply of milk. Good supply of eggs, decent supplies of meat and chicken, good supply of seafood.

Still no paper products. Shelves thin in a number of areas. Not much bread, except for one brand going for $4.04 a loaf. Either this store isn't getting all their deliveries, or everything's still flying off the shelves. Store not that busy, around 8:20 a.m.

Walked by the donut shop. They are closing as of tomorrow, until 8 April.

On the way home went by the discount grocery store. They are only letting a few customers in at a time. Went to the door, employee looked at me but didn't open the door. Nobody else waiting outside to get in, didn't see many customers in the store. Makes no sense to me, but I buy little there anyway. Looks like they were getting in a shipment of eggs since I saw the truck going around the back, to the delivery area.

Not that much traffic in town. More on the freeway.

Now the golf courses have been closed. There are a bunch of major golf courses here, including Pebble Beach's courses.

Still believe the lockdown of the entire state is unwarranted. Looking at the latest on YouTube, there are just over 50,000 cases and just over 600 dead for a nation of 335 million. Read somewhere this morning that 80,000 people died in the USA last year of the regular flu. 23,000 have died between 29 September 2019 and the present. Yet no draconian measures were taken.

It's to the point now where I just don't believe anything the "authorities" say. And from what I have been seeing lately, looks like a lot of other people are doing the same.

Time to confine lockdowns only to the "hot" areas. Remember, those who mandate all these overly restrictive measures never miss a paycheck, and they don't give flying fuck one about all the hourly workers and their families, who must pay for the politicians' and "civil servants"' arrogance and utter lack of common sense, much less compassion. Luckily, President Trump is standing up for the hourly workers.

I could be wrong in my conclusions, but the numbers seem to back up those conclusions.

Monday have a routine medical appointment in a nearby city. Doctor's office is co-located with the county hospital. Should be interesting to see how things go, assuming the appointment actually happens.

So, is this the new game / flex in globalist town ? I guess Nukes are so 1950's in terms of foreign power play...
I'll stick with the nukes, thanks. Pretty sure I can nuke a virus.

No you haven't been wooshed and fuck you've made me check and now I got no clue what to think.

I gave the narration I was taught in school but... yeah it doesn't seem to stand up to fact checking sources. Some of our history books still claim Franco was not a dictator so I guess I should get used to rechecking everything I learned in school.

Rationalization they gave for the painting was that it simply represented the massacre, so yeah I guess they told us it was about a woopsy.

I'm kind of out of words I did not expect to have facts from school challenged this clearly by the facts this late in life. I thought I'd learn to spot the bullshit (we have religion class in school so there's a lot of bullshit at times...) I'm sorry I guess.
Wow. I suspect all countries have things like this in their curriculum. Things they just 'know' , but aren't actually true. We all know the Japs are very dishonest about their actions in the 20th century. And the Chinese about the present day.
Well done for facing it head on. Didn't mean to lay more shock on you in the middle of Coranapocalypse.
I'm in no way an expert on this, but that English language wiki page I linked above pretty much matches what I already thought.

At this point I'm not replying to you Joe, as I'm pretty sure you ignore my posts, but for everyone else, 23,000 divided by 177 (days since Sep 29th) is 129.94, so 130 people a day. Wuflu killed 140 yesterday in the states, and is already up to 100 today, and the US is gaining new infections faster than any other country, (barring China, who I don't trust the numbers for) at 10,168 yesterday and 7,126 so far today. It's already worse than flu.

1. I don't believe Cuomo for a fucking second. Once he gets those ventilators, he's keeping them. His stance is obviously that NYC is more important than other cities.
2. FEMA has 20k ventilators that haven't been used in years... spread out across the entire US. Beyond just finding the damned htings, they need technicians to rebuild and repair them.
