Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

The only submarines in production in Germany are diesel-electric/AIP patrol subs for coastal waters. At best, they can use Harpoon missiles.
Lol apart from the ones they paid to build for other people which are armed with nuclear tipped Popeye Turbo missiles for the purposes of committing genocide. Again, did you read the original post which asked about German government priorities when they're shuttering hospitals while building up the military of war criminals?

Another video from Dr. Campbell. He discusses the future of the infection - it will get a lot worse before it gets better, but it will get better. Boris Johnson has sent a letter out to 20 million people essentially telling them to stay home.

Here's the Boris letter he mentioned

Her tard wrangler needs to stop self-isolating and get back to work.

I think the Dems see her as a 'plain speaking/speaking truth to power' type who is also brown and a woman. A sort of anti-Trump. Yeah, US politics is going to get even dumber.

Hey is anybody starting to lose weight from:

a) restaurant food being (literally) off the table?
b) needing to ration every can of beans that crosses your threshold?
c) only "some" of every food item to go around during meals?
d) not being able to get together with friends and family for potlucks and coffee and high-calorie cake?
e) boredom-induced cleaning and organizing binges?
f) increased cleaning due to the sheer number of people in the house 24 hrs a day?
g) more rest?

Just wondering.
I'm late with this but whatevs;
We've lost a bit of weight on the old farm, mostly from policing batches and portion sizes to make things stretch. My former career required I know a lot about food, so I've always had good amount around, and when this hit stocked up early (thanks fam) and was more concerned about stocking up on seasoning items to be able to make chicken and rice in several forms so as not to get bored. Our diet hasn't changed much, but we don't let any leftovers go to waste anymore. We've been staggering out our cooking nights, one on, one off to forage for leftovers, and it seems to work out pretty well. I was kind of concerned to go to the store yesterday and see some gaping holes in produce. We don't buy exotic stuff, but when potatoes and carrots get low, I gotta worry.

Also, I haven't been bringing home junk food. If we want something sweet, there's fruit or we have to make our snacks. That keeps us from overindulging for sure.

Firing that captain was necessary, since he broke the chain of command - they should really ask for a firing squad at his court martial for his actions, since it was done during the national emergency, essentially a state of war.
The Firing Squad? All because you think he made Trump look bad? Out of morbid curiosity, would you support the execution of Assange too?

If he wasn't doing it to add gas to the Dem narrative, what did he think he would possibly gain? He didn't go through the chain of command at all so he's going to get reamed by his superiors, discharged as soon as this is over, and could even get in worse trouble since he communicated readiness info about a US ship.
??? Why the fuck would someone in the Pacific watching the people under his protection die care about a Democrat narrative? Not everything in the world revolves around the DNC or US domestic politics you retard.

Good news!
3M assures us that in their considered opinion, exporting all of their masks is in the best interests of the US.

Trade policy decided by 3M and strategic defense decided by a panicking Pete with 100 mild cases of WuFlu of his 5,000 crew.

This shit is exceptional.

Incoming Rando bitching on the youtube
I'm not a personal fan of Truth stream media but this one is worse than their unicorn rant

I was in a zoom focus group last night-- this was a cross-section of people 18 to 49 from all over the USA. They were asking us about marketing movies direct to home viewing. The last thing they asked us about was going back to theaters after corona-chan is over. Everyone else said that they would be going right back as soon as it was over in May or June.

I said we don't know if this will mutate and come back in the fall, or if a new virus will come along after this one, or how long this one will keep on going. I have people I am responsible for, so I didn't know if or when I would be going back to theaters. I could get them sick, and with one of them, I could get an entire nursing home sick.

I could see the faces of the other participants, and they all instantly got this look of horror. It was clear that none of them had ever thought about this lasting more than a couple of weeks, or about another virus happening. Maybe I need to make more of an effort to hang around more stupid people, but I was a little taken aback that none of them had anticipated that the world might not go back to the way it was after this.

Pro Publica has interesting articles on coronavirus but the one that catches my eye is the one explaining early data shows African-Americans are getting and dying from the bat flu at very high rates. I suspect this is also the case in NYC.
in re: Milwaukee, it's just because black people don't listen. They congregate regardless, and when Wednesday rolled around (the first of the month) we had a fatal shooting mid-day two blocks from my house, and when I went to go to work the next day, the bus shelter was completely destroyed by yet another reckless driver. They just don't care and will NOT listen to white people telling them what to do (not to mention stop lights and 'loud music must have headphones' signs on the buses). Antisocial behavior is definitely a factor and it's NOT white folks' fault. Getting real tired of their shit, honestly.

I enjoy the implicit(🌈) assumption theaters that have struggling to exist for years won't be bankrupt and equipment sold off by the time 'this is over'.

Probably not.

But I can imagine a scenario where they look at new economic and political realities going forward and decide they need to just grab a little piece of this or that somewhere similarly to the way Russia took Crimea. The same logic we use to say they won't be crazy enough to do it tells us we shouldn't be crazy enough to try and stop them if they do.

Problem with China is that their army and govt are really shitty.

Börk news: The Swedish government wants more power to fight the corona virus. https://www.thelocal.se/20200404/sw...more-powers-to-fight-the-coronavirus-pandemicA government that has been handling the corona crisis as well as other crises poorly mostly due to their own and different government agencies' incompetence (and not necessarily legal restrictions) now wants more power. Hmmm...

Thanks Reddit.

Indiana is going to give people on food stamps extra benefits this month, except the ones that already get the maximum amount for their households. It sounds nice since I guess if you can only afford the cheap brands but those are all gone and you have to buy the pricier stuff it could throw things off, but I imagine only being able to get limited amounts of things would take the fun out of bonus-money shopping sprees.

I have more videos below but I am gonna put this video at the top because this is the most optimistic and hopeful one. Interview with a Kansas doctor who has actually been using the experimental hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin treatment and reports positive results:

However, if you look at the comments underneath the video, several video are saying that they should add zinc supplements to the combo because of so many people being mineral deficient.

The tragedy in Italy:

Dead gay doctor. His colleagues are saying: "The hospital killed him. Mount Sinai killed him."

This medical professional talks about putting patients (who are well enough to recover at home) on large doses of vitamin C, but the problem is that this tends to have an emmenagogic potentially abortifacient effect on women which he doesn't mention:

LMAO, Antifa fashion items turned into emergency masks:

As you can see, Brazil is practicing social distancing... not:

Those of you who commented saying that "Brazil will survive anything", I hope you're right. :optimistic:

"Google is trying to help with tracking coronavirus cases" 🙄🤨

The Johns Hopkins University coronavirus map tracks new COVID-19 cases around the world in real time, and 15 billion people have viewed it as of Wednesday. The idea began in January when Ph.D. candidate Ensheng Dong and his advisor, Associate Professor Lauren Gardner at the university's Center for Systems Science and Engineering were discussing new projects.

Here's the publised paper where the above surveillance "tracking" project was layed out:

Abu Dhabi's got that shit down: ☪

This pertains to just one State (New Mexico) but I think this applies across the board: "Impact on tourism"

NewMexicoTourismPrognosis.jpg

If these projections are correct, Americans will be itching to travel.

"Most American travellers miss travelling and cannot wait to be able to do so again. There will be a pent-up demand once this is finished."

Wouldn’t they listen to their pastors? The only black people taking this seriously are medical staff and as I mentioned earlier the blacks thought they were immune to the disease. The state would be quite happy if the black population went down and that sentiment is growing.

Well, at the rate things are going, you might not have to put up with them for much longer.

EDIT: Case in point
