This is dumbest thing Cleveland has said for like, two weeks or so.

C'mon Alex, at least try to be subtle with your narcissistic projections.AKTHUALLY they are adult kids of rich parents who doesn’t want to take responsibility and grow up and they decided to “role play” as school kids in a “school” funded by their parents to keep their delusions.
And yes, that’s one of potential excuses Alex said by himself.
Do you know where Alex said that? That would be very interesting to see a very dumb reason for Alex to defend himself for putting high school students in a porn collaboration game.AKTHUALLY they are adult kids of rich parents who doesn’t want to take responsibility and grow up and they decided to “role play” as school kids in a “school” funded by their parents to keep their delusions.

Come to think of it, how often does Cleveland interact with Alex since Cleveland does treat Alex as a friend, but what about how does Alex treat Cleveland?View attachment 1215043
Who called it? I'll look it up I know it's close
Edit: Right now it's less than 2 days and 3 hours. More like 2 days and 1 hour after your comment. So you fucking nailed it. I don't know when this was posted but obviously it has happened lmao

As for Kappa‘s vid... it was interesting, but one thing that got me off is a criticism of him being an american who makes a game about Japan, while he could do something about his country. C’mon, I thought that times of hating on cultural appropriation are gone, let weebs fulfill their weeb fantasies. Yes, it’s stupid and cringy, especially when Japanese people see the names, but let’s be honest, if Alex took this dude’s advice and started to work on a game about native americans, colonizers, or, to be closer to YS, about school shooters, he would be tear down much quicker.

It was posted on this thread from YS reddit, iirc. I’ll try to find the source.Do you know where Alex said that? That would be very interesting to see a very dumb reason for Alex to defend himself for putting high school students in a porn collaboration game.
I can only think of one way to change Yandere Simulator's setting to an "academy", but it would require a huge amount of suspension of disbelief. Here's the idea:
- Saikou's daughter had a completely miserable high school experience. Saikou wanted his daughter to re-live high school, but have a great experience, so he commissioned the construction of a Juku that was designed to make the students feel like they were back in high school again, living a peaceful and idyllic school life. That's actually the selling point of the Juku; "Re-live high school!" "Feel like you're back in high school again!" "Study in a comfortable high school atmosphere!"
- Some students don't even apply because they seriously want an actual education; they just hated their experiences in high school, and want a second chance. Other students apply because they don't feel ready to grow up and become adults yet, and want to "role-play" as high school students for a little while longer, before they begin their adult lives.
- To fully create the high-school experience, this academy has cleaning time, uniforms, etc. Students are allowed to be "delinquents" because the staff understand that being a "delinquent" is the experience they are paying for.
At first I thought so too, and partly it is what he criticizes, BUT. When he said something like “you’re American and it’s weird that you make a game set in Japan, you’ve never been there to understand it, you could at least make a Japanese-American setting”, it kinda fell apart to me.I didn't really realize it like that. I took it as he was criticizing the fact he didn't do any research because it's not even close to a good representation of Japan.
Because he loves teenage girls. Why doesn't he just set the game in a fucking college? It'd be less fucking contreversial and people would stop calling him fucking gross??

I actually found that pretty interesting and ended up seeking it out myself. The person who wrote it ended up writing a part two. I found both on removeddit which fucked with the formatting a bit, but at least it's legible. That's the impression I got too. Though one interesting tidbit I saw in there that I didn't know of before, which may have been brought up in this thread but it's over 1800 pages long and I wasn't here from the beginning, is that an actual native japanese speaker tried to help out with thinking of new names. The fact that the original post is deleted now makes me wonder if he ended up badmouthing the OP either directly or in secret cause I can't imagine this would happen if he actually displayed gratitude at someone trying to help out.
Cost is of no concern when you got Mommy's credit card.View attachment 1215309
Seriously, who the fuck is still giving him money? I doubt that his largely preteen audience would donate a dollar every month, and his teenaged fans probably are splurging that much chore money on him either. Are there really enough cleavelandrocks in his fanbase to give him 2000+ out of their collective disposable income?
On the bright side, he'll probably reach <2k monthly before page 2000. How low does it have to go before we get Hate and Shame 2?
I knew someone would say that. I highly doubt that accounts for more than 10% of his patreon bux. It's not very easy for a kid or a teenager to get their hands on their parents credit card information, then also have it go completely unnoticed long term. Considering there are volunteers donating their time and talent to this shitty project, a few dollars a month ain't so bad. That said, the fact there are any grown ass adults donating or helping him for free is baffling.Cost is of no concern when you got Mommy's credit card.
According to Removeddit this was actually deleted by the author himself, for some reason.Alex almost certainly had it removed after he bought the subreddit because he can't handle criticism.

Also, a uni would require Alex to actually design varied clothes for characters instead of just reusing the uniforms he bought from the asset store.I'm going to play the devil's advocate here and say that a college/university wouldn't work. There's less structure in the day, you don't really have a clique of classmates you routinely hang out with, students come and go depending on what lectures they have, there's not really a fixed schedule and you can even skip lectures without any real repercussions (other than being less prepared for the exam of course). For the kind of game Alex wants to make, a high school simply functions better in every way.
I mean, it is a "anime" based game, and how many animes from japan are set in a college setting? Certainly not the most popular ones, I would imagine (could be wrong, I guess). To be fair tho, Yanderedev is as creepy as any autistic weaboo Neet faggot.I'm going to play the devil's advocate here and say that a college/university wouldn't work. Do people seriously care about the ages of fictional characters? Why doesn't he just set the game in a fucking college? It'd be less fucking contreversial and people would stop calling him fucking gross??
I don't know, dude. I certainly find it a bit weird that some people enjoy seeing 8 year olds getting tentacle raped by Cthulus with 30 dicks, even if they're drawn.Do people seriously care about the ages of fictional characters?
