A funny thing about internet forums is that they must not be taken seriously. Internet communities are neither designed nor managed in such a way as to be an acceptable substitute for healthy human socialization. If you try to make an internet community a part of your life in the same way that you would belong to an actual community, you will gradually lose your mind. Every subforum of the Kiwi Farms is filled with threads about people who foolishly chose to live on the internet until it broke their fucking brains.

Every internet community inevitably winds up with a few (or maybe a few thousand) lunatics who live there as a substitute for having a life. These people all have one thing in common: They cause shitloads of drama. Moving into a stupid internet forum as your home will fuck up both you and your home. The drama won't make you happy and it'll make everybody else fucking miserable as well.

The line can get a bit blurred, because even if you just use the Kiwi Farms to entertain yourself on occasion, sometimes you will run into annoying shit that sucks -- such as crazy people causing drama. In these instances, you must remember never to engage and never to become emotionally invested. Here's some examples of how you can resolve issues without being a lolcow about them.

• Someone in a thread mentioned Made in Abyss (again) and now the last two pages are a derail about the ethics of anime child torture (again): Hit the report button and then try reading a different thread, or go play a video game or something.
• Your opinion on a movie didn't go over so well and your notifications filled up with Autistic ratings: Who the fuck cares. Insert coin, make another post. If no one likes your opinions and seeing the puzzle piece makes you feel bad, find a different audience for your sperging.
• Ashy the Angel posted: Laugh at him. While you're at it, consider leaving A&H before you wind up shaving your head and buying a tiki torch.
• Mods gay: Post a thread in Talk To Staff, then vacuum the carpets or something while you wait for a response you fucking cave animal.

In all circumstances, you should behave like a normal, mature person. If something bothers you or makes you unhappy, take appropriate steps to resolve the issue. If those steps involve notifying someone else and then waiting for them to act, do so and put the matter to bed until you hear back.

Most importantly, do not scream "descent the highest form of patriotic" and start trying to overthrow the system like you're a downtrodden pleb fighting for a better future. The Kiwi Farms is not a nation, you are not its citizen, this shit is not fucking important, and you should never, ever forget those facts. If you post on the Farms too much and you start getting concerned about fairness or objectivity or favoritism or your reaction score or other pointless meta-commentary/community/management bullshit, LOG THE FUCK OFF IMMEDIATELY. At that point you are no longer a kiwi; you are a cancer and you should stop being either before you get banned or worse, not get banned and proceed to poison the whole fucking place.

I can agree to an extent, but I also think this is an oversimplification. In this particular case @JambledUpWords was certainly right initially regardless of how autistic he behaved in response. If the mod was hassling him purely because he didn't like him, the mod is every bit as much of an autist as @JambledUpWords. If you're put in a moderation position, you shouldn't be such a massive faggot that you can't handle things without abusing your power and fucking both the site's users over and the site itself.

To me, this entire retardation is all the result of two autists not being able to keep their tisms in check.
