Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

It's not just a flu.

This virus attacks the human brain, along with most of the vital organs.

If you don't believe me, then ask PhD neuroscience expert Dr. Kevin McCairn, who I have corresponded with over Discord, and who thinks that everything I've written about the virus was valuable enough for him and his associates keep a copy of.

Neurotropic virus. It makes people go down and do the Worm:

Neurotropic, brain-stem-eating virus.

It doesn't just do this to people collapsing in the street, either. Many of the people in the ICU who needed to be intubated have depressed breathing due to brain stem damage:

Neurotropic brain-eating virus.

No amount of ridicule or denial is going to change the fact that COVID-19 eats people's brains for lunch and craps out an exceptional vegetable on the other end.

That rabbit hole you've dived down is getting pretty close to wonderland.

No, really, just a flu bro.

That rabbit hole you've dived down is getting pretty close to wonderland.

Please explain, in detail, how a betacoronavirus of the Bat SARS variety is in any way, shape, or form related to influenza.

SARS had a case fatality rate approaching 17%. MERS was even worse. These viruses are vicious killers, and we have retarded people everywhere saying that it's just the flu, that it's nothing.

There were numerous papers that stated that they found SARS in people's brains after the 2003 outbreak. It causes profound neurological symptoms, not just minor ones like influenza.

SARS-CoV-2 is highly neuroinvasive.

I have discussed this with numerous PhDs, including Dr. Todd Rider, Dr. Kevin McCairn, and a few others, and they all agreed that I was on the right track.

I mean, you get some sniffles, you get a cough. Sounds like just a flu to me, bro.

I mean, you get some sniffles, you get a cough. Sounds like just a flu to me, bro.

Sniffles aren't even a symptom. The primary symptom is actually high fever, to the point where people are dripping with sweat. Have you seen anyone in public lately wiping their head over and over with a tissue because they're pouring with sweat? I have. That's COVID-19.

This is what the virus actually does to the human body, according to everything I've dug up on it:
  • Bilateral viral pneumonia and ARDS.
  • Lung fibrosis and permanent loss of lung function.
  • Myocarditis and pericarditis and the breakdown of the heart muscle into the bloodstream, accompanied by elevated troponin levels.
  • Excessive clotting leading to myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, or stroke. Platelets are used up by what appears to be Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation.
  • Mild viral hepatitis, indicated by abnormal AST/ALT and highly elevated ferritin. Myoglobinemia and possible renal tubular damage that leads to acute kidney injury.
  • Cytokine release syndrome.
  • Bacterial co-infections and viral sepsis leading to multiple organ failure and excess clotting.
  • Hypokalemia, low lymphocytes, low platelets, and low white blood cell counts.
  • Male infertility and damage to the seminiferous ducts, indicated by abnormal testosterone and luteinizing hormone levels.
  • Medullary damage that causes dysautonomia, loss of automatic breathing, and perhaps even collapses and seizures with abnormal posturing (decerebrate/decorticate posturing) and the fencing response. Behavioral abnormalities like strange aggression have also been noted.
  • Possible systemic hypertension, vasculitis, and/or hemolytic anemia.
So, if you want to keep believing it's "just some sniffles and a cough", that's on you, pal.

See, this is why it's still America's Favorite Game.

I feel deeply for whoever proof read Dr McCairn‘s doctoral thesis. There’s a man allergic to punctuation.

You have some evidence, I take it, that this isn‘t some doomer larping as the actual Dr McC? Likewise Todd Unctuous - I mean, Rider?

Ok tinfoil. If it's so neuroinvasive, where's all the evidence? Most of the folks keeling over in Nurgle's Kingdom China were folks who basically went down and out as the virus fucked them beyond recognition and filled their god damn lungs with blood.

SARS effected 4-5% of those being treated in a nervous system way in one hospital. So it's a tiny part of a tiny part and in the grand scheme of things.

It's almost like there's a word for someone who would go through so much effort to post some doomer shit on some relatively nobody forum. A forum where people have already dug into your past just to mock you. A forum of people who mostly give no shits.

Aut......something.

quick flipland update:
president Duterte has decided to extend the lockdown from April 14 to April 30.
there are now a total of 24 doctors that died in the line of duty. at least 2 of them were infected by a tourist from China admitted in Philippine Heart Center that lied to the attending doctors.

Among the latest death that is disclosed, is Dr. Mary Grace Lim (Department of Emergency Medicine and Quality Management Department at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center)

Update on person close to me in the hospital in the Detroit Metro area--person is feeling much better and hopes to go home this week. Person was given HCQ upon being admitted and started improving right away. It's interesting about how it stops the cytokine storm, because while I don't know if that was the case here, from the info I do have, I find it believable that it might be. Person was extremely sick. I'm sorry I don't have more definitive information.

That is, in fact, Dr. McCairn. He has a mild disability now, because he suffered a serious TBI and it affected his ability to type.

Now there's an ironic fate if there ever was one. Genius PhD neuroscientist loses function to concussion. It's almost like one of those comic book supervillain origin stories, y'know?

Plenty of evidence. Reams and reams of it. If you read my document, you'd know, but I'll just take the liberty of copying some of the links to the various papers on SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2's neurotropism to make things easy for people:

Last, but not least, we've now seen dozens of people collapsing all over the world with this fucking virus, just as I posted up-thread:

Not true. There have been numerous videos of collapse and seizures related to COVID-19. It’s not just any coronavirus. It is a highly infectious and invasive form of SARS, the big daddy of all coronaviruses.

I was following the “Harry Chen” Twitter with the juiciest leaks. There were a lot of these collapses and seizures.

The first vid shows the sheer number of ambulances involved in all this:

The collapses are so well-documented at this point, they’re basically a confirmed feature of the disease.

Again, my list of papers goes over this neuroinvasive potential of SARS coronaviruses in great detail.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2493326/

Transgenic hACE2 mice are mice that have been modified to have human ACE2 receptors on their cells, making them vulnerable to SARS in the same way we are. When the virus is introduced to them, it eats their brain, especially the medulla.

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2005/09/050915002938.htm

Victims of the 2003 SARS outbreak had a great deal of CNS infiltration by the virus.

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1002/jmv.25728

There is a high degree of gene sequence homology between SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2, meaning there is a strong possibility of many shared features between these two pathogens. Both seem to be capable of attacking the brain stem and/or causing cerebrovascular issues.

Remember, SARS-CoV-2 is basically just a version of SARS-CoV that is vastly more efficient at fusing with human cells.

If you want evidence for neurotropism of this virus, there's shitloads of it.

China lied people died. Don't lie to doctors like the Chinese had.

The rhetoric of VOX is getting more and more insane. Now they've even tweeted some photo of a buncha coffins photoshopped into the Gran Via. link

Even their affiliates are heavily criticizing it. Even the nationalists are calling for national unity in the face of this cataclism so this is THE most autistic shit they could do. Now the right wing radicals I am in contact with are almost all starting to go into conspiracy mode claiming Vox was always a gayop to make the right wingers that hate the PP hate other right wing parties and when they started being reasonable the PP told them to go into dumbfuck mode to avoid loosing them. On the one hand I'd like to think they're just going full Qtard, but on the other Ciudadanos was a PP organized Gayop to syphon votes off the left. So... They're not below doing it really. If they have done it they're idiots. Before now the right had pull because it was united, the left was divided. Now? The left is getting unified while the right has gotten its morale eviscerated. We were already the numerical majority, they only won because we had a lot more non voters and our votes were spread to more parties. They have no fucking clue what hole they got themselves in. I only hope the left doesn't take their chance to go full tyrant when they get supermajority, and that some good right wing party can come out of this mess.
