How drunk do you have to be to unironically cry over Starship Troopers? Is he so dense that he didnāt catch the super blatant satire? Itās a goddamn textbook example. That's just the result of giving a drunk failure an inch and letting him take a mile. Rand blames the others for his ban as some kind of way to ostracize him. This is because up to this point Ralph has been able to throw his weight around to keep the mods off of Rand and intervene in the suspensions he's recieved. Now that Ralph's been booted from the affiliate program and is no longer on good terms with site staff following the second Pillstream he can't protect Rand from his own drunken bullshit, but Rand is a pissy asshole and takes this incapability to help him further as some kind of personal attack.
Rand is the same guy that got shitfaced and cried at Starship Troopers and Hitler speeches while screaming at his kid about the Israeli's stealing Rhodisia's future from him. He's a failure in almost every regard in life and it shows in how he's been dealing post-ban. Take anything that falls out of his mouth with a very large grain of salt.
To be fair, one of them caused a famous youtuber to become Maddox 2.0, and another is Matt Mundane with tits and a sevenhead.I usually like the KillStream but I'm sick of them talking about e-girls every night

It's about a terrible society in which people just follow the government line and don't really think for themselves. Red letter media did a fairly good breakdown of it, if you're interested in it.Everyone says it's satire but if it is then it's terrible satire, aside from like the first 15 minutes it's just a straight up space soldier movie. What part do you cry at, when the guy gets his brains sucked out through a big straw, or when they blow a giant lava bug up with a grenade in its ass?

While the war is a thing, I don't believe it to be the centrepiece of the movie or really that important at all. It's a vehicle for the exploration of the characters, their experiences and the society. The bugs are alien and it does seem that humans can't communicate with them, but attempts are presumably made as the war progresses. This can be seen at the end where the character played by Neil Patrick Harris is seen to read the mind of the bug queen dragged out of it's hole and declare that it's afraid. I don't know if this means they are on a decent level communication but the question is never asked; If this thing is afraid, is it not something that is more than a mindless animal? Does it in fact have any complex emotion? Has there instead been some horrible mistake that has led to a terrible, pointless war?Yeah what I am saying is that argument makes no sense, it's an intergalactic war with a species that cannot be communicated with. In the book I think it's stated that humans basically caused the war by accident and the bugs see them as invaders, and something about the meteor strike being allowed/planned by the government to inspire more people to join the cause but none of that is in the movie. The closest we get are some of those "would you like to know more?" commercials and even that's a stretch.
You could make the case that something like Warhammer 40K has satirical elements but if this movie is satire then so is Starcraft. The whole claim is just one giant cope from people who want to like a pretty cool and fun movie where jingoism is shown to not be the worst thing in the world.
The funny thing about the way Rand and his ilk parrot the "service guarantees citizenship" line, which is the only thing they ever really bother picking up on, is that by the film's definition of service Rand himself wouldn't qualify since he only served for a few months and was never deployed. Being a non-citizen in this regard puts himself on the same level of society as the niggercattle and judenbergs he screeches about so much. It also ignores the fact that the government, which are "inherently subverted" as far as the grug-brains who look to the film as an ideal society are concerned, defines citizenship worthy service without any accountability to actual citizens. The war is even less important on the book as it is, in my opinion, basically a chance for Heinlein to circle-jerk his utopian political system; One in which rights are enjoyed only by those who directly serve and sacrifice the society in certain ways. (To be decided by Heinlein himself, I'm sure.) In the case of the book this is of course voluntary military service.
That faggot Rand is still around? And he has an ilk?The funny thing about the way Rand and his ilk
Amazingly yes and yes; he's still active on Twitter talking in circles with the handful of his old viewers who still interact with him and he's been skulking around Flam and Ralph's Discords on and off. Without Ryan streaming his co-hosts or fans or whatever they are have slowly begun moving on to Ralph's other co-hosts, but there's a few who have aggressively split in Rand's favor. I don't have the patience to sift through it and mull over the ins and outs of whatever is happening with Rand but whatever it is you can be sure it's extremely gay. That faggot Rand is still around? And he has an ilk?
Mundane Matt wants to debate Suzy Lu? What the fuck is he thinking?
Depends. The cheapest bottle of wine I've seen was $3 AUD at Aldi. Everything else is upwards. I bet the bloke drinks crownies so maybe $25 a 6 pack?Mostly accurate, except I would suggest that Rand lost his co-host card when the unappealable lifetime ban was awarded for his consistent ability to stream without being milquetoast. I think he's just figuring this out (he is really dumb, as documented) and is lashing out at what he used to consider his absolute best mensches
How cheap are standard drinks in Australia? Really cheap I hope, because this meltdown is worth keeping an eye on

He drinks some kind of hard cider, specifically Mercury if my memory serves correct. They're 8.2%, hence why he calls them double a standard drink. In one of his more recent streams he said he drinks anywhere between 4 and 8 at a time and goes through a 24-count every week or so. That means he's spending at least $65 AUS each week on booze assuming that he hasn't taken to drinking more as of late.Depends. The cheapest bottle of wine I've seen was $3 AUD at Aldi. So considering alcoholics usually badly undersell their habits, lets assume the max estimate is actually a conservative minimum; which would be roughly comparable to 16 shots at the least leading up to any appearance on the show that didnāt involve him calling in from work on the sly. He must drink more than Ralph does/did. Jesus. He drinks some kind of hard cider, specifically Mercury if my memory serves correct. They're 8.2%, hence why he calls them double a standard drink. They're becoming increasingly trashy about women and it's weird. So is TRR all about e-thots and smash&pass discussions while they pretend they're way above the women they're critiquing now? Even though it's annoying hearing a bunch of ugly losers bragging about how they could bag women of that tier with ease the biggest crime is that it's just so fucking dull. Rand despite his retardism might have a point about how disgustingly milquetoast TRR is nowadays.
