Happy 2000, Rusty! We've learned a lot about you, including that you still haven't learned anything.

You're most likely correct. A lawyer would know the right things to say to get the cops to actually do something.I suspect that the victim googled Russ and found this and other resources. She (because of course it was a she) probably reached out to Skordas and he was persumably willing to be a victim's advocate for a nominal fee, if any, and walk her through getting charges filed. Lawyers can be useful for complainants, not just defendants.
Because Russ is both a moron and a creep he has a local lawyer that is basically his nemesis. Except the lawyer knows what he's doing.
At the very least, I hope Russ gets more than a slap on the wrist. This isn't an error in judgement, this latest incident is part of an established pattern of behavior. I hope a psych eval is ordered and therapy mandated. Real therapy. I mean, the guy thinks he has a relationship with a world famous singer who has in reality never heard of him. He's probably beyond help, but at least there'll be a record of his behavior if he escalates beyond mere harassment.Skordas faced off against Russ in court twice, he's definitely doing this pro-bono (if i were him I would). I'm really hoping that Skordas has a good relationship with the judge and could get Russ the harshest punishment.
I am not a lawyer. Russ is not a violent offender. I would imagine that an appeals court would question a judge hammering a defendant in the ass for a first offense, non-violent crime. We all know Russ' history. Skordas is involved allegedly to establish this history. This prosecution is about establishing a paperwork trail and pattern of behavior for Russ. I will be shocked if he gets anything more than court ordered counseling. Maybe skordas can swing probation if things are more serious. Not knowing the details of the offense does leave us in the dark.
If his little pity me story happened and isn't just his attempt to show that he, too, is included in the conversation of how Corona isolation is effecting us,
What made him so sure that the delivery went to the wrong place if he couldn't even find it? Did he see a pizza hut car going somewhere else? Couldn't a neighbor have also ordered delivery?
Has anyone else ever come across a delivery app that forces you to tip before the food will be delivered? So many questions that add up to this story being bullshit.
There was literally a song called "Piano in the Dark" by Brenda Russell, it was an 80s hit and sampled by Flo Rida's "I Cry" which was also a huge hit.
I figured he was referencing Bruce Springsteen's song "Dancing in the Dark", but Springsteen isn't tween pop so who knows. There was literally a song called "Piano in the Dark" by Brenda Russell, it was an 80s hit and sampled by Flo Rida's "I Cry" which was also a huge hit.
He's awful and doesn't know anything about music :/
My guess is his rental comes with a parking spot and he is so petty that even though he doesn't have a car or even fucking drive, it's HIS spot and no one can use it.
I don't know if it's an actual rule with apartment/condo complex lots, but it seems to at least be an unofficial guideline that one shouldn't park in another tenant's spot without permission -- even if the latter doesn't drive -- because the car-less tenant could still receive guests, deliveries, etc. that need the space.Russ is such an insufferable cunt. He feels like he has every right to approach someone he sees as being in the wrong, but if anyone does it to him he pitches a tantrum because "some random weirdo" is being mean to him, and "he didn't do anything to them".
What's more likely, though, is that his rudeness about protecting "his" parking space results in people parking there anyways largely to spite him.
I don't think he even confronts men. Women are another matter.I doubt he even confronts anyone. I think his sole response is impotent seething.
