Something fucky is going on with the recovery numbers.
According to Worldometer 736,472 out of 2,261,631 or 32% have outcomes. 79% of those recovered 21% of those died.
My local government is saying out of 256 cases, 179 or or 70% have outcomes. More than double. 98.3% are recoveries and 1.7% are deaths.
So what's happening here? Is the local government catching more milder cases that most? Are worldwide recoveries under-reported? Does being a densely populated petri-dish like New York City and getting coofed on on the subway and shit increase the viral load so much outcomes are worse? Any insight?
Something doesn't add up, and like I said before, the government where I am would not be capable over covering up a bunch of deaths given how interconnected everyone is and how gossip goes around so it's not that. If someone is covering something up its a bigger more capable government covering up recoveries for some reason.
If you live in a small population with good healthcare the recovery rates are going to be higher and vice versa, the statistics for densely populated areas with insufficient healthcare are going to see higher mortality rates.
