I think he may have already known. When he did the LBP autism tutorial, he read from a source. I think there was another instance that he was reading from somewhere on a video, maybe to justify that people with autism are superior than people with Asperger's. Pretty much, although white knights are doing far more damage than the trolls ever did, at least they provided a chance for Chris to grow (I’m talking about the non malicious ones who just wanted a reaction rather than trying to scam or physically hurt Chris), the white knights are encouraging Chris into living in a fantasy world that’ll eventually come crashing down.

Saying that we’ve reached a point of diminishing returns where Chris’s life is so sad and pitiful that 99% of people are going to come off looking worse than Chris if they attempt to troll him and then they also get to live with their name forever attached to Chris.

In other words, without the trolling, he'd likely be "Classic Chris."
