So Chris doesn't want to conform to society...but hasn't he heard

Seriously, Chris should play it straight and cut his hair...

He doesn't want tension. He doesn't want the good guys to have a tough time, even if they come through it ok. He wants his whole time watching the show to be a pleasant diversion.
Which is why Wild Sonichu sticks out like a bent duck in his comic.

Chris doesn't know what the hell he wants. Big surprise, right?

In case of Chris' own comics, I always assumed Chris would feel bad for making his creations suffer when putting them into dangerous situations. He wants to be benevolent towards them, thus he avoided any kind of unpleasant things.

So Chris doesn't like this episode because the antagonists were conformists, which he hates? Am I understanding that right?

Essentially, this MLP episode is the Interview for little girls.

I could SWEAR its the same basic plot.

When I opened the next page, random_text.txt said "Before I left I was working on a story about a fluffy pony who assassinates Kim Jong-Un."

So...on top of dressing like a colour-blind old cat lady, obsessing about MLP, and getting sent to court over Sanic, Chris is now a pseudo-hipster...hahahaha! Oh GodJesus, this is too much, I need to lie down.

Chris reminds me of those 90's commercial that try to be "edgy" and "cool" to sell something.
Then again probably back in the early 90's he believed every last bit of marketing hype behind the Genesis even if alot of it was just buzz words and flash. Also I am laughing that he think the Friendship is Magic episode will not be resolved by the end of it.

Corn Nuts were by far the worst offenders, though I do agree the Genesis commercials advertising their "BLAST PROCESSING" or whatever caused me to cringe many times.

I always thought the Corn Nuts ads were meant to be a parody of that kind of advertising. I mean, it's corn for God's sake.

Chris, go to Wikipedia and look up the definition of "Villain".

Pick apart why your non-conformity dilemma is fruitless and melodramatic.

Then pretend you did not post this on Facebook...

Isn't that the same character as the Twilight one? Damn these 4 legged glue ingredients get confusingly generic, even when compared to Chris's Hedgehog abominations.

I mean, I'm surprised Chris can tell the difference. I had to stare at the picture for some time.

So at the risk of Autism-elemental damage, I watched the episode.

I can now safely say I know why Chris hated it.

The antagonist in question is someone who screams about the need for equality and runs things cult-style with intimidation, a-la Vade, and does so with some kind of ability that ensures that no individual has any special talents or abilities that can outshine the others. She's created a so-called utopia based on this, since equality mean nobody can outdo one another, ergo enforced peace, and state-mandated friendship, but secretly most of the village is miserable but can't do anything about it because they either consider the alternative worse or are scared shitless of incurring the leader's wrath.

So CWCVille, then.

The irony is that the antagonist in question, riddled with insecurities, has done this to ensure nobody can outshine them. Whilst arguing for homogenization and equality, the leader of this movement is the special-est of all the so-called special snowflakes, and as such, she believes that everyone must conform in order to suit her whims. I know fuck all about MLP, but this much was obvious:

Chris hated her because he saw himself in her.

Chris and conformity is amazing.
On the one hand- he thinks he's a super speshul austic hero deserving of the ultimate sweetheart and is set apart from the rest of the population (specifically JERKS).
But on the other hand- even when he tries to conform and be "normal" (Fridays After Five, going to the mall/ Game Place, fucking college) he fails, or at least is outright recognizable.

He may be easily led into his interests, but you could make a good case that Chris is a nonconformist, if by accident*.

* It all may be 'tism. Your opinions and experiences may vary.

Interesting side point, Corn Nut's where not always related to Corn, Corned Beef was a easily obtained food by British Sailors during the 16th an 17th cententuary and it traveled really well this was about the time Corn was introduced to the European Diet and when a Sailor bit into a Salt crystal or other hard unidentifiable object they where told it was a Corn Nut as not many people knew what Corn really looked like and it was a bit of a status food stuff at the time they accepted it. So that's how Corn Nut entered the English lexicon.

So the rumors that the episode is anti-SJW-as-fuck are true then?

No wonder Chris despises it - he fit the bill for a self-serving SJW long ago.
