They are beaten up to the point killing them would be a mercy. It’s a miracle Ellie isn’t a vegetable after such head damage. It’s a miracle Dina‘s stress and wounds didn’t caused miscarriage which, without immediate medical help, can be deadly to girl. I wonder how writers explained how girls got healthy after such ”fight” and how they are not mentally damaged.

Besides the obvious buyers remorse people would suffer from (myself included), not much would change from the situation right now. Wether shitting on certain game companies has legitimate points or not (walking simulator, „games“ that are actually just movies, boring shooting/looting, bing bing wahoo), these kind of plot twists always serve as ammunition for this. Specially when those plot twists are pants on head retarded. So regardless of what scenario, the end result will always be the same.

tbf it's not unique to the vast majority of fictional stories that any (non sexual) violence that don't result in immediate forseeable deaths/amputations is treated as completely recoverable without any long lasting damage, unless the story pays special attention to the effects of the beatdown.

There's absolutely no evidence she's trans, no. Other than the obvious shit posting, people have convinced themselves she's a tranny and the game is worse for it, or that any criticism of the leaks is rooted in transphobia because of Abby supposed identity.
