If he tiptoes around this to stay "neutral," AKA to avoid offending Chris, I'm going to be a bit upset.

Chris actually seems to watch these, but because everything in them happened so long ago, there's a sense of distance that allows him to separate his autistic self from his autistic antics. That's not him. That's past him. That's like a completely different person!

But when we do catch up and Chris sees stuff that happened only a year or so ago, it'll be harder for him to reject the reality.

I'm not expecting Geno to be the one to get through to Chris, but I feel like this could be building up to a pretty funny reaction where he has to deal with someone who he actually pays attention to flat out telling him he's being an idiot and not sugar coating it.

Whether or not this results in lulz doesn't really matter. I think Geno is doing a good job at what he's set out to do so far. I enjoy every update and listen to them often. There's so many little things that keep coming up that I missed despite my many years of following Chris.

Keep up the good work, Geno. I look forward to the next one as always.

Just watch the outtakes of Geno busting his gut laughing trying to keep a streight face as he narrated Chris's "made up" homosexual summer camp experience. Every time Geno trys to say 'an 8 year old's dick in my ass' he loses it. it's like a palate cleanser to hear after his neutral tone for so long in a row.

having seen pictures of Barb and the first wife, i'm still chosing the first wife, even if she got 20 more years on her. Also rather odd Chris-chan never got into music like bob did, you would think Chris would have some bizare taste in music based on his collection. i know when i was bored i would raid my dad's music collection, and it wasn't close to Bob's, who essentially had the equivalent of a TB of music. Chris never thought about putting that shit on instead of listening to the same loop of Nintendo music for the 1000th time? the only reason i discovered Meatloaf and Alice Cooper (the band) is because i was tired of listening to my music and didn't want to hear a 16-bit rendtion of Disney's Aladdin music.

maybe every greatest-generation and boomer person i know was a loser, but was Karaoke that big of a deal, especially in bumb fuck virgina? it might have been popular in like urban cities with lots of asian influence but 80s VA is still weird

it adds to my theory of him being a bit of a tist. thinking you have friends because of work or school but the second you retire you never see those fuckers again and they dont want to see you.

Bar karaoke in country bars in particular were pretty big in rural West/Central Canada in the 80s and 90s, I am sure it was even moreso in the rural U.S. states.

Bob has a lot of cool records actually. He had a Second pressing of Robert Johnson’s album and a bunch of Korean folk even. He even had some early Pink Floyd and Beatles stuff and Cream, Fleetwood Mac, etc. most of it was Jazz, Folk, and Blues but he did branch out a bit. About half of it was destroyed in the fire which sucks because I legit want a first press of A Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

What a waste. Some people still actively listen to vinyl too, not just B&N hipsters. I could see a more tasteful owner proudly displaying and listening to them with a glass of scotch.

Though considering Bob’s generation, I’m pretty sure that’s one of his beers of choice. I wonder if Chris still ties one off every now and then. He’s streamed a few times drunk here and there.

You would think he could have found a cool chick at a record store to fuck instead of a bar slut. Also you would think college Chris would have at least gotten into the psychedelic, folk, or jazz music his dad had. An American first press of piper at the gates of dawn must have meant he was into them way earlier than most US fans.
 
I've noticed that most manchild sperg people who are too obsessed with children's games/shows tend to have a very specifically bad taste in music,

it's always just either whatever is on the radio right now, just how Chris would blast it on his older videos- usually female pop artist bullshit, It was almost foreshadowing his transformation. If its not top 40s, its just really meh/super processed mass appealing shit that's in the games, shows, etc they consume and that is also noticeable with what he's shared regarding his music tastes. He's just very slow in the mind with what is "good" music because he doesn't really care to get into different genres or explore his tastes beyond his comfort zone of mediocrity.

I don't think he's even like the rest of us where we have our guilty pleasures with something we know isn't great, but we just have a personal attachment or its just fun to hear anyways.

I can't say I'm surprised he doesn't like anything Bob does,
Chris always had some resentment towards Bob, probably because Bob wasn't submissive as Barb was , and it really shows in how he doesn't care for Bob's taste in music at all or interests to the point he sold alot of his stuff away after he died that he knew Bob cherished. He just doesn't give a fuck.

I like to think of various bands or types of music that would be fun to make Chris listen to if he couldn't escape. Stuff I think he would hate. I think it would be funny to blast him with Combichrist, Wumpscut, and Rammstein cranked all the way up until he lost whatever's left of his mind.

So I've been sitting at home in isolation and had time to listen through the whole series (so far) over the last few days since I discovered it. I have to say ever since I started lurking the farms in 2016 and I first learned about Chris I've wanted to learn more about Him but could never really come to absorb all the relevant info via the CWCki because it very quickly starts to seem more like research than entertainment when you can only go through so much at a time and a lot of it is "stream of conscience" type stuff that he's written and which has no real significance without context.

Something like this where only the more noteworthy things are highlighted (including things that would be very easy to overlook) with occasional narration to fill in the gaps that aren't his words or reactions is exactly what was needed to get a picture of what might be happening inside his mind.

I'm someone who likes to archive my own stuff if it's interesting or has a chance of becoming difficult to find. If it's a series like this which covers a million different things I'll sometimes make my own notes to help navigate it when I wan't to come back to it and find something specific. I figured I'd copy/paste the notes I made for this thinking someone might find it helpful, keep in mind I didn't have a very thorough knowledge of Chris before I started the series and made these notes as I was listening (sometimes while doing something else) so a lot of this is very big events interspersed with not so big ones.
