I discovered Nostalgia Critic via his crossover with AVGN. NC's video game review he did was amazing. Some of his other stuff was decent but now its so full of inside humor and inside crossover humor with the other people from that site I have no idea what the fuck is going on when I'm watching. Drawing a connection between these two topics is stupid unless you have context -- especially when we're talking about clearly demarcated pornographic content. I can or at least should be able to enjoy softcore girl-on-girl and interracial pornography while also complaining about the fetishization of lesbianism or racial othering in popular culture without necessarily being a hypocrite. Or even less abstractly, there's a difference between your buddy staring unflinchingly at the tits of a lapdancer and drooling over the cleavage of the sales clerk.
