From what I have seen in some parts, I think this is what the Woke-Crowd want to call transmen now for some reason. Calling transmen a word that means "homosexual woman" sounds like transphobia to me, but IDK.

So if a white person from South Africa were to tell about their experiences with racism to a black person in the United States, that means the black person needs to listen and believe the white person’s lived experience.

Lived experience does not mean "anedoctal evidence". It means "any experience that validate Critical Social Justice". So a white person, regardless of time, location, or context, can only have lived experience of being complicit or active in perpetuating oppression. Any "PoC" whose account contradicts social justice is a race traitor with no lived experiences.

In addition to tribalism and id politics in exchange for personality, I think a small part of it is that spend so much time online, they don’t know how real people act. If you spend all your time on the LGBT parts of twitter and tumblr, no wonder he’d come off as “too straight”.

I think the big takeaway is the "I" in identity politics. It's all about me, my, mine. How could anyone possibly measure up when compared with me?

So I looked it up, and it turns out the "Rising Sun" flag dates all the way back to the Edo period in 1603, but because WWII happened, South Koreans get real pissy about it, even though it sees plenty of modern-day use in Japanese and Japan-themed products, as well as their naval ships. CNN (imagine my shock) released an article last year that straight up compares the flag to the swastika.



Apparently hundreds of years of tradition mean completely nothing if you do a single bad thing. All those symbols we use to identify ourselves should be abandoned, rather than reclaimed, because it gives someone who was never affected by those events second-hand PTSD.

Heck, why stop there? All those Buddhist temples in Japan that use the Manji should have their symbols torn down, because the Germans did a bad thing 80 years ago! All those religions that have used the swastika for centuries as a symbol of good fortune should change it because of an event that's not even a century old. All those war generals from the Confederate States must have their likenesses removed! The past must be erased to appease those in the present!
