See, this sort of thing is why the information matters. If a random KF user responded to my post this way they'd look like a massive faggot for getting mad about Internet drama. But since we know that you're Cameron Clarke, a former fan who had a bad experience with Dax, we know that you have a legitimate reason to take this thread more seriously than the rest of us. We know that your real life beef with Dax will affect your posts, so we can understand why you'd get angry and jump to conclusions like this.
For the record, my point was not that this somehow negates any criticism of Dick or magically reverses his lolcow status. It doesn't, and I think people should keep laughing at him for as long as he keeps making an ass of himself. I know I will.
Would you care if Maddox was posting a bunch of misinformation under a sock account, got called out, denied the allegations, kept posting, and then I dropped evidence that it actually was him? Same principle here. If someone may be using a lolcow thread to push their personal agendas then I think it's worth calling out so people can evaluate their statements accordingly. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer strictly heterosexual ops.

If your enjoyment of the thread isn't affected by people making shit up because they have an ax to grind, I'm not going to tell you that you shouldn't enjoy it. You do you. For me this shit is only funny if it's real, so if some butthurt bullshit artist is running wild in a thread then I want to know about it. I don't come here to read some angry sped's lolcow fanfiction, I come here to read real stories about real lolcows embarrassing themselves in real life. I know there are other people who also care about that, and that's who I posted it for.
To put things in perspective, when I posted audio clips of scumbag tranny pedophile Jonathan Yaniv doing a horny Elmo impression for an underaged girl, I put an asterisk on my claim that it was him because at the time it hadn't been confirmed. I didn't do that to defend that odious piece of shit Yaniv, I did that because I'd be disappointed if someone else made that claim and it turned out it wasn't true.

As I mentioned above, that's absolutely not what I'm trying to do. Dax has been chimping out so much that his lolcow status is undeniable, and anyone who says otherwise is delusional. I came to this thread to laugh at his antics, but what I saw instead was some tard with an ax to grind trying to turn this into an intensely gay Internet war. I saw people accusing legitimate users of being part of some autistic conspiracy when in reality it was Agent Double-O Assmad who was trying to pull some undercover bullshit. It's hard to laugh when everyone is taking it so fucking seriously.

I already said why it matters above. As for people looking his shit up, yeah, a lot of people have done it. Most of them did it after his post, after he'd already provided a superficially believable explanation that would engender confirmation bias. None of them have posted anywhere near as many objectively false statements, nor appeared to deliberately misinterpret so much evidence, nor demonstrated a clear ulterior motive for doing so.
You'll notice that I didn't try to contradict literally everything he said. I didn't comment on the Kik profile, neither the photo nor his claim that the name was fake, because I think there's room for reasonable debate and interpretation there. I also didn't comment on his claim about Marie having BPD, because to my knowledge what he said was accurate and his evidence was credible. In fact, here's some more evidence for it (feat. Again, I like to laugh at embarrassing things that actually happened. If people are trying to laugh at Dick about shit that some tard made up then he won't be embarrassed, he'll be laughing back at them because he knows it's not true. Truth and mockery aren't mutually exclusive. Personally I think it's pretty kino to mock him for dating a horse-faced crazy broad who's outright stated that she'll never feel the same way about anyone as she did about Maddox. Okay, prove it. Show me which parts of my post were inaccurate. Point out which things I mistakenly attributed to Ben. I'm pretty sure my shit was air tight. If you're just talking about me not pointing out every shared/repeated inaccuracy in the thread then you're right, I didn't, because my goal wasn't to correct the entire thread and crack down on every inaccuracy. My goal was to point out that there's one person who's bending the truth frequently and egregiously, and they seem to have a clear motive that goes beyond just having fun like the rest of us.
Depends. Are Becky's ex in-laws shitting up the thread with fake stories and trying to lie about who they are? If so then they should at least be outed and have their bullshit called out, and if they still can't shape up after that then maybe they should be threadbanned. But if they're honest and they blend in, or at least come clean after their antics get exposed, then of course they should be allowed here. We get a lot of great dirt from people with an ax to grind. There's nothing wrong with them being here, but if they're trying to use the forums for some ulterior motive they deserve to be mocked.

Yes, you're right, it would be stupid to discount valid information just because the source has a grudge or is otherwise biased. I never said that you should, in fact I trusted that you wouldn't because I knew that a lot of you would probably see me that way. But it's also stupid to believe blatant misinformation just because you happen to dislike the subject of that information.
I don't know how else to explain it and I'm not going to try, because if you don't believe me now you probably never will. If you guys want to have a thread where you let angry speds just lie to you then I'll leave you to it. I'm not trying to ruin your fun.
