There are white nationalists in European countries who support racial homogeneity for fellow Western nations, I've met plenty. I guess you could call them pan-European ethnonationalists or something if you don't like the word white, but it's the same thing.

I guess that’s fair enough. My bitterness is mostly aimed at the fact that this all started with one cop fucking up; had he done his job better, most of this could have been avoided.

while thats all said in good, i bet George Weiss would have gotten better results talking to honest Parole offices and social workers.

the people that do their best on parole are the ones that straight up leave all their family and friends behind, whatever caused them to end up in prison and on parole is still going to be there to help him get back to his old ways, if George was going to pay for college, he should have also paid for housing for the parents + private school for the kids. basically take them out of what they know and would lead to them committing crimes or getting knocked up. and i dont even mean across the country bel-air style, 2 hours away is good enough, long enough that family&friends could come over for the day but not enough for a longer stay, a big part of gangs and criminality is the region. you aren't going to have the crips in rural Wyoming the same way you dont have those Roadhouse style fiefdoms in brooklyn.

also what good would college do them realistically? i dont know how often people here patrol the job boards, but most city jobs dont require a degree and the ones that do its always one you dont have or better yet a masters. the amount of people i know with a STEM degree and a job in the field they studied and dont have a masters is like 1% its a racket.

and that doesn't even get to the grade inflation and the surge in people dropping out of college once enrolling. what better way to get people chained in debt but to get them signed up for college courses and then realize too late they cant actually do what all their teacher said they could. millions of millenials taught the wrong way as a joke for profits

I don't know what the reddit post said, but Gary is a super shit hole. I used to tell people when I had to drive through neighborhoods for work that it felt like I was in Fallout 3/4 IRL.

I'm sure there are probably equally as shitty parts in other cities, but Gary has virtually nothing going for it. A few food processing plants maybe? (I had to visit two for my old job, they could be closed now). There's the old US Steel Plant and they have a minor league baseball team.
